Subject: RE: TAN #82 ... TANning is a lifestyle you know.Lovely ride this morning. Up and at em at 5 am. on the ride, I saw more bunniez (look out fish!) than you can shake a stick at, one REALLY big red-tailed hawk on someones roof peak just surveying his domain, a cat (chased the litttle guy for about 100 yards), a couple of racoons (few babies in the mix), two coyote's (they really are starting to get quite bold) and last but certainly not least, a skunk. THAT was a first. Scared the bejeesus out of me after I finally realized what it was. I was on a trail and it was still kind of dark. I had just scared a couple of bunniez when I saw something different looking off the trail (fortunately by about 15-20 feet). It wasn't until I was perfectly parallel with it that I realized it was a skunk and he was NOT happy. Tail up, azz pointing towards me. I downloaded my workout yet, but I'm certain my HR must have shot through the roof. Other than that, it was a beautiful morning for a ride. Full moon setting when I started and a nice sunrise when I finished. |
