Asalzwed - 2012-11-14 12:31 AM I am going to kill someone. Did body composition this morning so i couldn't eat beforehand. Not eating breakfast doesn't suit me very well.

Oh em gee you poor thing!!! Do your coworkers still have their limbs?

Yes but only because I have cereal at my desk and am able to eat right meow.

In other good news I lost 4 lb body fat and gained a pound of muscle. Also, oddly my right arm got 3% bigger and left 1% smaller. Ha!

Congrats on the BMI changes.  As for the arms ... Surprised

You think that's funny meow?

Hey, that is awesome news. Especially on an already slight build (ha, one day I'm calling you fat, the next you're thin, snerk).

Was scheduled to ride 2:00 tonight and was feeling pretty woozy at 1:45. So I quit and took up two bowls of Cheerios I thought of you.

Yeah lady, make up your mind! Nah, I think we can agree I've got more, eh, T&A than the average elites. Good thing I'm not elite! Smile

Ha! So glad you think of me. I got these weird knock-off cheerios at Target (or at least I think they are knock off) and they are called Vrooms and have a NASCAR driver on the front.

In addition to the other shenanigans, let's have a deep water running race when I see you. Also, it's going to have to go on youtube.

Maybe snork a bowl of cereal in T1 and T2.

Drink for profanity

Drink for contact between competitors

Waterfall during "transitions"

Finish your drink if someone loses their coconuts

Yes, it sounds as though we might have some drunk spectators by the time we're finished. This sounds like the ultimate win win

We're going to need you and all those multi-tasking hands for our aqua tri. You know, to hold the drinks and such. So, yeah, keep your calendar open.

If this happens in Bali I am so IN!!!  If not well who knows, never say never I'm always up for some travel!

Aquajogging. Big fan here. Been able to at least maintain or build on run fitness for big races.

Lots of both academic and practical resources re. it and its effectiveness ... I usually steer people here.

In addition to the other shenanigans, let's have a deep water running race when I see you. Also, it's going to have to go on youtube.

Aqua tri. Doggypaddle, paddleboat, deep-water running. In coconut bras with Speedo bottoms.

Maybe snork a bowl of cereal in T1 and T2.

You're on.

Prize for the winner is the loser.

With stakes that high? Count me in Smile

We need a drinking game for the spectators.

Drink for profanity

Drink for contact between competitors

Waterfall during "transitions"

Finish your drink if someone loses their coconuts

Giant-snort-LOL

Yes!!!

On Ann-Marie's 17th other hand, though, that could result in spectators essentially waterfalling during the whole tri.

All those hands make multi- tasking easier. They are also all the same size.

I believe it will have to be. I don't really want to do this in the Puget Sound and I think Yanti might literally die in those water temps. (44 degrees in the winter to a scorching 54 in the summer)

Artemis - 2012-11-13 3:41 PMThat cold I've been fighting since my Halloween race?  It turned into bronchitis.  Miserable.  I was supposed to start marathon training this week.  So not happening.  Maybe very slowly (and shorter?) if I'm feeling better Saturday or Sunday.
Pick it up in week two wont hurt get well first

That's my plan.  I'm thinking of just taking a long walk or doing an hour WALKING on the treadmill on Saturday.

Starting to get this gunk out of my chest, but it is definitely not better.  I don't want it to continue to linger, so I want to focus on getting better.  I think I can jump in at week 2 or 3 without any issues.

Oooh yeah. I think this is one of those situations (especially because you have continued to get worse, not better) where you just want to completely rest.
