Certainly. It'd be ambitious but I totally support that.

Ok, poddies, need some help.  I want to get to running Barry Galloway style: 3-2-1 and Gallowalking.  So, I am building back up, increasing my running intervals by :30 each run, while going up a minute or so total running each time (so adjusting the number of intervals).  At what point do I go to running every day?  Once I am at a certain run/walk interval?  And should I take the total amount of time I ran in the week previous, and split it up over the six runs?  For the record, tomorrow I will be running 3.5min, walking 2 min (x5) and if all goes well, will be up to run 5 min, walk 1 min in about 10 days.

Oh, and Janyne, I guess you can take me off the DL please....

What's the purpose of the run/walk? Just doing it while you regain fitness?

I always do it so that my lungs can catch up on the walk breaks.  Ends up being faster for me in the long run.

Haha, good one.

Kirsten, I got those events backwards BTW.

Haul Ash in on Saturday the 18 http://redhook.com/calendar/?mth=05&yr=2013&eventID=6324

Beat the Bridge is Sunday the 19 http://www2.jdrf.org/site/TR?fr_id=2215&pg=entry

If you can only do one, I think Haul Ash is the one. 1. You ride from a BREWERY to a BAR and back to a BREWERY 2. Selfishly I'd like company. Biking isn't as fun as running 3. I don't have a 3, refer to #1

Oooooh, intriguing!  Ok, I think since that is the long weekend for us, I will be booking the surprise party for the week previous, so should be able to make that.  Hopefully you don't ride like you run though.... Maybe I'll just get you liquored up and you'll be slower.
