TheSchwamm - 2009-05-15 3:25 PM Makes me wish i had set things up for container gardening... bah.

I planted a few things last weekend and have no idea what I'm doing!
Red peppers, grape roma tomatoes, basil and italian parsley. All in containers on my deck so the wabbits don't get to them first. We shall see!

Nice!

i had a tomato plant growing in my driveway a few years ago, but the goddamnedsquirrels picked all the tomatoes off while they were still green and took a single bite out of each and every one. i want to try, but i fear it'll be a waste of time...

olliedawg - 2009-05-15 4:18 PM Alright... any ladies still in the house?  My special lady friend (GF) and I are coming up on out 2 year anniversary.  I've already gotten us tickets to Wicked... what else should I get her?

Still here. That's a good gift. Add a nice dinner beforehand? That'd be enough for me

Yeah, that's in the plan... the funny thing is, she's going to be out of town (with another man) for work on the actual date, so we're doing this a few days late.  I'm thinking about sending some flowers to her hotel.  I'd better get some pizza before and after the play.

Got my 10 mile long run done today (I took the day off), got my 2 day reservation at one of the waterpark resorts!!  My 2 older sons are playing in a tourney in the Wisconsin Dells (think HUGE waterpark city), so there'll be TONS of b-ball, and then some relaxin' times at the indoor waterslides later!  WOO HOO!

Be good, TAN!

Did they ever refill the Dells reservoir?

Last I heard they did.

I had a pretty nice 1/10 acre garden when I was living in Vermont.  I enjoyed the actual gardening more than the product.  I gave most of it away.

I agree.  Maybe flowers, but that really isn't necessary.
