best class EVER. HAHAHAHA I was so waiting for that guy to show up on an album somewhere. I don't really watch any of that show but I did see that and I am so supprised he didn't end up somewhere like a few other 1 min sensations. Yet it is still stuck in most of our brains. |

It is very frustrating and I hate doing this. (Unless someone at my company reads this, then I find it very eye opening and can see how it will help develop me into a better leader for my team, and find that this is a great time for self reflection) |

So this last weekend, I found out that The Pogues are coming in concert in March. So I texted my best friend I've known since I was 6 and who turned me onto the band to see if he wanted to fly up from OKC to see them. I got a big fat AFFIRMATIVE! I'm so pumped. For those that have been on here a while, it is the ex military friend I talked about a few years ago. He is slowly turning his life around and this will be the first time he has come up to visit us.

I think I am almost as excited as you are. I love the Pogues and I am a complete pop culture neophyte, so that's saying something. I also remember your friend well, what you said of him, and had been praying for him quite consistently at that time, so I am really, really happy to hear he's doing better. Consider him reincluded in my daily prayers now for as long as I remember. I'm in a pretty shyty funk these days so it's really lovely to get news such as this. |

Rum, Sodomy and the Lash was the first Pogues album I had. Such good stuff. Those lads are wicked ugly, but great musicians.
