I used to think BT was weird.

That's before I started spending more time on FB as well.

agreed...

So, since we are on the topic... What's the etiquette for FB friends anyway???

Case in point...  Tala gets TONS of requests.  From friends, coworkers, connections, and fans...

So, on the rare occasion, a guy fan will get on her list of friends, then ask ME to be a friend...  Maybe to "announce" that he is just a friend with my wife and everything is on the up and up?  OR, just wants to add friends?  I usually deny.  But does that make me a d-bag?

Maybe I got the whole "friend" thing wrong and I just add...  well...  Friends?

I hate this new pressure that FB adds.

FB is entertaining watching certain people... I often go through my FB and turf people I have not spoke to in forever. At that point I get an inbox. " Hey I noticed I am not your freind any more" These same people I have not spoke to in 15 months.

wife is addictied to it.

BUT, because of that?  She has gotten great connections and free stuff.  That last party was PURELY becuase she tweets a lot and has lots of people in the "biz" that follow her.  So they figured if they invite her (+1) she will tweet all about it to the Vegas crowd.

We even met two guys there that gave up their real jobs JUST TO TWEET.  They get invited to the grand openings off all kinds of things, parties, free trips...  So they can tweet about it.  Crazy.

I have a girlfriend who is in a cover band. She ended up creating a separate "fan" page for the people who wanted to friend her from the music gigs. So she has 2 pages - only has "real" friends on her "personal" page and accepts anyone on the band page. Not sure how it's working out for her, but it made sense to me.

i have definitely entered an alternate dimension. or is that just my mundane life?

I had the first conversation EVER, meaning just hanging and chatting, with my bro. On FB. EdITED to add ... meaning not our first conversation on FB. I mean our first conversation ever and it just happened to be on FB.

And now I'm 'chatting' with my ex-fiance for the first time since nov. 7 when we broke up ...

ryna and hangloose WERE here, right?

I really can't afford any more medication ...

Hm. Is "I was busy" a good reason for dumping your fiancee on FB?

Yeah, we talked about that.  Lots of Matt Goss fans are on her personall FB page and she starts to feel weird putting personal stuff up like trip, family pics and pics with me and they are seen by strangers in the UK.

UK people are icky.

She needs a "fan page" but it's hard to seperate them now.  Even a Tala Marie Yancey web site????

I WISH it were in the 20s here.

Currently 4F.
Feels like -20F
NNW winds at 29mph

It's literally a white out right now.

PS weather.com says it's currently 54 degrees with winds gusting to 28mph in Las Vegas, NV.
