However, it's hard to "justify" a lot of the expenses in this sport.  You can go just as fast on a $1500 tri bike as a 5k tri bike (and maybe even a $800 road bike, for most people).  So anything over that it based on lust/desire rather than sound justifications.

Morning, TAN.  So, lately I've been getting fed up with the number of typos, etc. that I find in books that I read.  So, I went online looking to see how one gets a job as a copy editor.  I found an organization advertising a need for freelance copy editors for the many articles they farm out to various websites.  They said the job required 3 years of experience as an editor of some sort.  I sent in a resume telling them that I did not have 3 years of experience as an editor of any kind, but went on to point out the several typos that existed in their advertisement seeking copy editors.  I haven't heard back from them yet, but I'm curious to see what, if any, response I get.

Oh, and I don't have to work today. 

Absolutely it is lust!!! 

Bike companies have an uncanny knack for doing that (well, most things).  They just know how to make the more expensive things look better (better paint scheme, etc).  Rarely have I like the cosmetics of the cheaper version of anything.

Please don't post pics in TAN.  Marma asked us not to do it and so it really is a rule we should follow if we want TAN to still exist.

I'd say to just buy the frame then and build it up from there to save money, but I don't know how much that would really save.

Aslo much cheaper
