I have a training questions:
I am weakest at the run and seeing how everything I have read about this race says the run will be tough I want to considerate on improving my run leg. The question is: I have the opportunity to run a marathon in mid February and was wondering if this would be a good ideal?
You and I are in the same boat. My weakest event is the run as well and am looking to do a mary in february (Surf City ). I figure that my long runs will be 2 hour hilly runs and will probably be at 6-7 hr's wk running volume so a mary that isn't all out shouldn't require too much recovery.
I figure if a mary thats not a priority race takes too much recovery than you aren't training enough in the first place and you are screwed either way. |
