Sounds like a plan to me... Just one question... What kind of wildlife is in that habitat?

Just your run of the mill woodland creatures - rabbits, deer, racoons, squirrels - and there is some aquatic life - beavers, herons, ducks, turtles - and last but not least there are the dang birds - turkeys and blue birds being the most interesting.

In the summer, when the prairie grasses and wild flowers are in full swing there are a ton of butterflies.  And sometimes if you're lucky you'll catch a glimpse of bald eagles that nest in the area.

Was supposed to go 4hrs on the bike with a 20 min run off but mechanical issues shut me down at 2:30 and then had to walk the bike an hour to the nearest town to have my wife pick me up. Frown

What's on tap today??

I am planning on a nice long bike ride and then a short run afterwards. But before all that, I need some serious breakfast and also want to get some cleaning done, but that's optional... The weather is great today. Sunny and warm, but the wind is back too!

Have a great Saturday everyone.

Looks like the cold and rainy weather made it to New England.  Not quite cold enough for sleet but close.  Worked out this am with my Y challenge team- circuit strength training- my glutes are sore already.  Since I didn't do my PT yesterday (dinner out seemed like a better idea) I have to get it done today....after cleaning the house for Easter company....and grocery shopping......and prep for dinner tomorrow.  Have an enjoyable afternoon all!

I just finished up some sanding/painting and am currently debating between swim now/trainer later or bike outside now and no swim.  I really wish the pool was open later on the weekends. *sigh* Decisions, decisions.

Had a great easter. Tripled my numbers from 1 to 3, so that is good. Now I just got to keep it up.

Hi all! Sorry I've been MIA... lots of family drama over the weekend. I've got 3 of 12 yoga sessions in for the challenge and will have another today. Should be no problems with meeting my goal for the challenge. Now I just gotta get back to the rest of my training! Happy training!!!

Hello masters! Looks like everyone is doing great at the challenge. I have changed my run schedule so I can run the JFK 5K runway run on the 19th. This will be in place of a 12 mile run that day so I will have to try to make up the miles to meet my challenge goal. I just could not resist a run on the runway in NY that I fly off of every week.
Half way thru the month! Keep up the great work team!

We finally got that beautiful weather I've been wishing for!  65*, sunny, barely a cloud in the sky.  I got in a nice outdoor ride this morning and plan on adding a few more run miles towards my goal.  I'm thinking it's the perfect day to head back to the wildlife habitat for some trail running.  After all the rain we've had, I may even get to do some puddle stomping!
