Just wait until 10pm rolls around and the strugglers start to roll in.  Talk about inspiration!

I get a kick out of the people that have the presence of mind to stop their watch when they finish!

amiine - 2007-07-22 7:25 PM

ready to register tomorrow? I'll make sure you are ready, we'll just have to ride longer and faster...

I think I am.    Now I just have to get in!

You have to stop your watch.  It's not really presence of mind -you've been staring at that damn thing for hours!

this IS addictive... watching all these finishers come in.  I am sitting here trying to figure out when Max is going to come in... I'm thinking around 15:30 or so, maybe another hour and a half or so?

Hi everyone, I just heard from oceanannie's parents at IMLP.

(Allison gave them my cell # and asked me to keep you all updated on her progress as the day wore on) As you know she had a terrific swim, her bike leg took a tad longer than she'd hoped for but was still within the goals she'd set for herself. She is now (at 7pm ET) 2 hours into the marathon and her mom says she's still smiling and looking good. Bib #1985

Go Allison!

Oh bummer, I missed this update earlier. Thanks so much!! I'm glad she's having fun out there. I think we'll be seeing her past the 16 hour mark. Go Alison!!!!

We just got back to our hotel which is lseriously ike 6 miles from Canada. I saw Max on the run course twice and he thought he'd finish between 11-12pm as he is mostly walking. It was a hot day and the last 32 miles on the bike were tough he reported.

May looked awesome on the run and even doubled back to give us hugs...go May!

It was great to see so many BTers on the bike and run. Sadly those I don't know in person I saw but didn't know who they were.

I did see most of the CT group including Aaron, Seth, Rob, Stacey, plus Max, May, Lynne on the 2nd lap on the bike and most of them on the out and back of the run.

It was hot out there today in the 80s which was tough for folks on the run.

Great day everyone looked great and it was so impressive.

Come on everyone...keep going strong~
