Could color coordination of bike clothes be the first step down the road to road biker dbag?

Wow, that's a strong statement for what sounds like a young kid.

Well, clearly doesn't apply to a kid or women. I'm talking about men. Shoulda made that clearer.

It's a fact.  I have an immediate sexual response when I see motorcycles.

Well, not, like, the goldwings or anything.

Everyone is out on them lately.  Freakin hot.  They are.  Makes me hot.  Dammmmmit.

Fair enough, I can live with that.

Nice!!! I hope a lot of women share your feelings. I DO get a lot of waves and looks.. and since they can't see my face........ I suppose it's the bike

Yeah.  I even saw a dude yesterday on a cruiser without a helmet, lookin snappy, and he had a CIGAR in his mouth.  On the freeway.  Weird.  Normally I would have thought he was an idiot.  Yet....... it was kinda hot.

Just make sure you stay alive, Ryan. My uncle was killed by an inattentive motorist running right over his bike - two months before retirement from the Navy. My father lost his left leg above the knee same way - some woman yelling at her kids ran a stop sign and creamed him. I have a couple of cousins that have also had bad crashes because people made them dump. Even good defensive motorcycle drivers are easily killed by an idiot in a car.

Dangerous, dangerous toys, motorcycles.

Wow, I don't get any of that.  At all.  Maybe it's because my bike doesn't have bright colors or tons of decals.  Or, around here, maybe it's because it can't be heard from three blocks away at idle sounding like it wants to die.  I still don't get the draw to HD's.

My thing about motorcycles is that I would constantly worry about an SO/Husband, etc driving one, since if you get into an accident, you're basically toast.

However - I HAVE ridden on one before (with a dude, of course); though it was a small touring thing, I think (Japanese brand). But it was kinda hot, I will admit...

Thats why you drive like everyone is trying to kill you.  And hope.  OR just stay away from neighborhoods.

I haven't had that fear....  not sure why.  If the cyclist has proper leathers and padding and helmet on, chances are better.  I remember learning how to ride and I asked over and over and over again, "how do I crash?"  I wanted to make sure I knew in that instant the best way to crash because I knew it would happen eventually.

Try riding a bike in the Chicago loop during rush hour. You learn real quick how to be defensive when driving, or in this case, riding.

A fifth cyclist was killed last week when he was doored and then was run over my a speeding SUV. Sad.

Let's put it this way - I've already told both of my sons that while they live under my roof a motorcycle is strictly forbidden. And if they buy one after they move out I'll save the world the trouble and beat the crap out of them myself. Just ain't happening. I'm done with funerals, ICU visits, and rehab sessions for family members in motorcycle accidents.

It amazes me here in RI. Helmets must not be mandatory - I see several bikes every day with guys not wearing helmets and riding like they are immortal. Cutting people off, driving between lanes in stopped traffic, it's insane.
