bcart1991 - 2009-02-13 3:41 PM New bike is ready for tomorrow (sans bar tape going on tonight). As she sits with my friend's 404s, she weighs in at 16.75 lbs. Not bad for about a grand spent. I just need to get my rear wheel built with a decent rim, and she can get even lighter than that. Woot. That be light. What's the size? My 61cm aluminum is just under 20 lbs.
She's a 58. Carbon tubes/Ti lugs, yo. Thomson post (not the lightest but strong ), sub-200g carbon bar, carbon cranks. There are a couple places I can get significantly lighter without spending stupid dollars (stem, post, fork ). We'll see what the summer brings. |
