10PU/day for each day of the montn.  So today is the 9th--90PU.  You can do them in whatever increments work for you.

You challenge junkies are nuts.  Cool

Some days the KISS method just gets me through...

2x 1min each:

straight leg raises, single leg raises bike style, crunch ups w 15lbs, bird dog, side bird dog, squats w 15lbs

Ok, I got 2 days behind again.  I just get bloody lazy, no other reason.  So I hammered out 30min tonight to catch myself up.  Apparently I like punishment...

Switch, you haven't updated the sheet since week one Laughing

How's everyone else doing?  Anyone want to check in even if it's to say you fell off the ab wagon?  Don't be shy.....we haven't heard from several of you in weeks.  If you've been lax, we promise not to beat you.....that hard.....

I'm a bit skeered to admit the ab wagon and I have long since parted ways.  I have nothing but admiration for all of you that continue to plug away at it.

I have been pretty consistent. It's maybe in a little less tradition core as it's very geared towards running. But yeah, I am still in!

I've been consistent.  Consistency....that's like, my thing Tongue out  But I also cut my race season off early July so what the heck else do I have better to do all day long than core??

In all seriousness, I am SO enjoying training just to train and not for specific race goals.  My classes and weight training are getting so much more attention and core is just part of that.  Still S/B/R'ing each week, just cut down on volume and only do speed when the urge strikes me Laughing  So that's my overall fitness and not just core check in I guess!

Hehehe!

I've been pretty good lately, but far from perfect.  There will be no catching up for me.  I wonder what kind of punishment I should give myself...

Chris, why don't you just jump back in now.  C'mon, man.

Mike, that looks like a pretty big day.  How ya feelin?

Brad, I think you and caffer are battling it out for the consistency award.  You've been really solid. Nice job.

Noelle, I hear you on the just training to train.  I'm really into what I'm doing right now, but I've definitely been where you are.  I think it's reaaaaally important to know when to not be focused in a race way.  Makes the "on" times much more successful.

I'm a little OCD about these streak kind of things. Unlike the running streak (where I working on #45 today), I haven't quite been every single day, but pretty close. I've allowed myself a few double sessions to catch up here and there, but I've never fallen more than a single day behind, and I've always made it up within 2 days. It actually makes me think if I were to do a better job of laying out my training plan well in advance, I might see more improvement, but I am not much of a planner. I have a general idea what I am going to do, but I certainly don't map it out in detail for weeks and months in advance. Hmmmm.

I just totally spaced on core yesterday after riding my new 29er mountain bike on the trails and then getting a 3 mile run in once I got home. I'll double up this evening.

Wow, this group has gone pretty silent. As I said the other day, I missed Thursday just by forgetting, then doubled up for about 23 minutes on Friday. Knocked out some good work early Saturday morning before the binge drinking started. Then got another solid 12 minutes in yesterday after an 8 mile run.

How's everyone doing?

I just did my core for today.  The push-up challenge is helping me--kind of a two-for-one deal, as I'm counting those pushes toward core.

We're in the home stretch and I wanna see some "after" photos people--c'mon!

Of course, you all love this so much that you're going to keep core as a regular part of your routine now, right?  That's what I'm telling myself anyway;)

It is quite around here, that's for sure!

Just got back from a trip to Sedona--which was awesome--and didn't miss a day of core.  I even forced my husband to do all the days with me since we were together the whole trip.

Hope everyone else we haven't heard from is still doing at least a little more core than they usually would, even if it's not every day.

How many days do we have left??

If you started on the very first day (I did), I believe you would need to get through October 1. I'm at 84 days, not including today since I'll do my workout in the evening!

Still at it:

Wed:  2 x 15 pushups, 10 min Ab Ripper Video, 2 x 15 pushups
Thurs:  Plankapalooza (i.e. mostly plank work)
Fri:  90 min Bikram Yoga
Sat:   2 x 20 pushups, 10 min Six Pack Abs Video, 2 x 20 pushups
Sun:  engaged my core drinking beer at the Ravens game
Mon:  90 min Bikram Yoga

My run-focused training has given me a reprieve from those time-sucking workouts known as "the swim" and "the bike", so I have no excuse not to get at least 10 min a day.

Going for a 5K PR October 12th, so I'm trying to drop 5 lbs., too.

I think I started on about the 2nd day or so, and I think I have at least 70 days in the books.  Now, if I get to count bending my body into a pretzel for 90 minutes as 9, 10-minute sessions, then I'm ahead of schedule.
