lvthgme - 2009-01-19 9:05 AM Hi kids...what's wrong with Wurkit???
She lost her job.

How are you today?

OMG that sucks!!!  Wow...

I'm okay.  Day off.  Leaving home soon to go watch some high school b-ball downtown.  =)

How's you?

I'm alright, leaving now to go retrain all of my customers on how to use the computer.  Nice of our company to completely change the ordering website and not tell anyone, including the sales reps, that these changes were coming.

Enjoy your day off!

yeah i'm ok for now.  i was out of town all day yesterday so i didn't have to think about it and i'm headed to cali in the morning so i don't have to be around it as it starts to dry out.  i do have to disassemble the carpeting after work though.

I hear ya...

About a month ago, flushed the toilet and heard water running into the floor/ceiling...  EW!!!

Ended up just needing a new wax ring (and it was clean water, thank goodness).

ALSO, felt a warm spot on the floor.  Had a leak in the hot water pipe under the slab.  Not good.  Came up with a cheap fix (other than tearing up the concrete slab....).

Then there's issues with the pool, and the irrigation that I still need to get to.  It never ends...

I'm really glad I share a house with a guy who owns the house, so all the problems are his ... the nice thing is, we have close friends who are plumbers/electricians/etc. so everything gets taken care of fast and for the cost of material only.

It depends on the age of the person. Some of the younger guys have it figured out before I get in, some of the older guys take some time to get used to doing it, but then they're ok.  Some of the guys who have been in the business since the 60/70's will fight the change tooth and nail because they hate computers anyway.  Whole issue today was that it was our screw-up...new website was supposed to be phased in (and it is being now, both sites are up and running) but this morning when the guys got into their shops there was only the new site, and people didn't have usernames and passwords for it.
