Who are you and what have you dowe with Salty?

And when you find her, can you please tell her to switch her training log calendar to begin on Mondays? Currently they begin on Sundays and it's driving me crazy.

Crazier.

Given that's not technically possible ...

BTW, there are a number of known bugs that Ron is working on. I think the dude may sleep in June. If you run into something wonky, you may want to either check in the Bugs Forum, or wait a couple of days with the thought being that someone else with less patience has already logged it.
Of course, that is just my 2 cents.

This was explained to me once in a very simple manner:

What are Sat and Sun? "The Weekend"
So then the week begins on Monday, right? "Um. I guess so."

Whoever explained that to you never looked at a calendar . I could give you the Julius Ceasar explanation or the biblical explanation for why Sunday is the first day of the week, but the easy reason is it just is.

I start my week on Monday because I'd get confused if my Saturday/Sunday long ride and run were from different training weeks.

Next marathon plan question.....according to plan I should do a half marathon around week 9. I spent a bit of time hunting races this afternoon, the closest date I can find to that is August 24. I would swap things around some, but that is a drop back week. (it's week 7 of the plan)

I thought there was the RnR in VA Beach Labor Day weekend, that would a little late--but not by much. It wasn't on the race finder. I don't know if it's a fluke in the race data base or I have my timing wrong.

Oh Manatee runners, help me sort that out--and is it *really* that important to do a HM midway through a marathon build when I have done half a dozen half marathons already?

Runningintheusa.com or halfmarathons.net help at all? They both have the RnR on Sep 1st.

Hello I am getting used to the site navigation now....tried to inspire you all and it was like a strobe light show but couldn't post a comment then it crashed I'm tipping it will settle down. Found my plan and logs etc. changed my calendar to start Mondays coz that's been puzzling me off for ages. Now on the old site you could see if someone was online do we still have that?

Well. I don't DISLIKE it, but, I don't necessarily LIKE it either....it will take some getting used to for sure...
In other news, the zoo is in the midst of a baby boom...multiple lemurs, some crested screamers (birds), the tiger, all kinds of ducks, and burrowing owls...and I may have found a turtle with a belly full of eggs today too---I will know for sure on Monday hopefully.

I don't know how to post nifty photos here now, so just click on the link and it should take you to a photo of our Mongoose Lemur baby--6 days old!

So I still can't find the top to my team kit and we leave in the morning :-(

My options now are a pink tri top that I've raced in before or an UA tank type top that I've never raced in but I've run in it and used it on the trainer. So it's sorta field tested but, most importantly, it matches my bike. :-D

Now when I click on a thread or post to it, it does indeed (THANKFULLY) take me to the last message. This was my #1 complaint about the new site. Reasonably happy now.

IMO, it is not important. You have race experience; don't need more if it is not convenient . You could run on your own simulating race pace.

I'll post a more athletic photo later. Felt like a lurker with no photo.

Another rainy weekend. I'll do a swim and maybe a yoga. I need to get a trainer if this is the weather pattern this season. It has rained every weekend for the last three weeks. How's a manatee gonna do a long ride....??? WAHHHHHH!!!!!
