I got in a good week of running so far, bringing me to 59%. Goal is now within reach, since 26.2 will definitely go down on the 28th, leaving only 14.7mi to go otherwise!

hey guys!!  Today is team report day, so let's get in some miles today!  I'll probably surf everyone's logs sometime before midnight and send it all in, so let's go team!!!!

You can put me down for another 14, my longest ever   and 96 total for the month.

brynn, that is FANTASTIC!!!!  congratulations!

this whole team is just PR'ing like crazy.  woooooooo!  let's all hit 100%, yeah!
  

hey all, just wanted to give a team update, looks like we are doing great!  We are 67.74% of the way through the month, so everyone who is around or over 67% to their goal is right on track!  Overall as a team, we are averaging 77% of the way to our goals, so we are rocking OUT!

aliclimb:  ~18 miles to go and right on target at 65%.

brynn:  ~5 miles to go and kicking butt at 91% (after increasing her goal too!)

davhamm: ZERO miles to go, and rocking all of us at 122%!!!

joebowler:  ~30 miles to go and well on his way at 76%

me: ~14 miles to go and pretty much exactly on track at 70%

RaytownPete: ~7 miles to go and doing awesome at 83%

Regimom: ~17 miles to go and coming on strong at 60%

tomp: ~40 miles to go and actually on track at 59% (got a mary at the end of the month)

wsm9363: ~8 miles to go and rocking at 87%

Zilla: ~4 miles to go and busting her butt fighting snakes at 95%

jbadger: ~26 miles to go and truckin' at 28%

TriGirl10: ~5 miles to go and doing fantastic at 86%

Looks like several of us will be hitting 100% this week - let's make a push for the final 10 days and ALL HIT IT!!!!

Also to make the percentages right, you should also put the person at 122% at only 100%.  Since if they are at 122% it would skew the overall results.  We end up at 77% verses 75.98%. 

I also noticed that a couple of others seemed to have posted their Sunday miles/Saturday miles late.

Ok I have 4 miles to go to finish my month.  Raced another PR last night in the Ghost and Goblins 5K race.  Dropped an impressive 1:21 off my previous (end of Sept) 5K PR.  So if you feel like giving me a pat on the back, feel free.

I should finish my miles Thursday night or Sunday at the latest.  Likely Thursday just so that something doesn't come up and force me to miss the run Sunday.

everyone's getting close.  i have 11 miles to go, and it will take me to the end to finish them, but finish them i WILL!  i'll be thrown off this weekend when we go to DC for tom's marathon, but i'll get in the last few when we get back.  woohoo!

Im just writing a note here to get feedback regarding those people affected by the fires in California as Mother Nature is an unforeseen circumstance that we could not have planned for with this challenge.

They way I see it there are 3 groups:
- Those evacuated due to fire risk
- Those whose running is affected due to smoke in the air
- Those who are working as part of the fire fighting crew

I have some ideas on how we can address this but the key suggestions are:
- Let another team member or members pick up their mileage in the next 7 days (this only counts from miles run from today)
- Allow for goal reduction based on planned workouts for days affected due to fire fighting or evacuation (has to be a fair way to do this, if you committed 50 miles and have only run 10 miles to date dont try and tell me you were going to run 40mile in 7 days!!!)

Those affected by smoke can use the gym or elliptical or treadmill to meet their goal OR if you do not have access to these facilities the above will apply.

Please let me know via PM or in the team leaders thread anyone affected and what you want to do ASAP as the end of October is almost upon us.

do we have anyone affected? 

my family was evacuated but are back at home and the house is safe now, thank goodness.  but me being on the other side of the country means i can still do my miles, which i will.

with this mornings run in I'm at 39.68 out of 40, I have 3.1 mile race on Saturday and can fit in two more runs after that if we need help picking up miles (9.04 miles if needed).
