I'm going to need to think about that one ^^ for awhile. I haven't been involved much with posting here. I haven't been involved much with posting here, either. New position? Ooooo, Sal is making the Big Bucks now! He's going to buy us all new bikes, and shoes, and swim suits! Yay for Sal! Heh. New position at work. Have to make a good impression and such... Hope everyone's doing well... O.K., we'll start with super high fiber bars for everyone. That should keep you all regular and within 5 minutes of a bathroom. Then we'll work on the other stuff. Big Bucks is always relative. Some of my income will now go to providing health care for those who CHOSE not to be covered. Oops, wrong thread...I forgot this wasn't TAN... |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge Went swimming tonight to finish off the swm goal - now at 100% for goal 1. I would have gone extra for 105% but wanted to get home before the girls fell asleep. I promised them a goodnight kiss! I can always go for 10 minutes on Wednesday at lunch to do that if it will make the difference! |

Will you still all be my friends after I have no more money to spend? |

Master 2042 Albany, NY | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge Also, my husband is now going out of town for work tomorrow night... Hopefully the girls will go to bed easy so I can get my last bike in. Did I just jinx myself? We have little food in the house and since we are going away for the weekend I don't want to buy a lot. So, my grand plan is to have a "girls night out to dinner" as a form of bribery to cooperate with my bike plan at bedtime! |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge ebshot - 2010-03-29 4:10 PM I spent all day at the doctor's with Cole. Between seeing the doctor, pharmacy (prescription refill), referral office, lab and chatting with a friend of mine, we managed to be there for HOURS. A quick stop for a late lunch (really quick as Cole started to get sick) and home. I am ready for a nap. The doctor is running a million tests on him. If they all come back negative, then I get to do a food log for awhile to see if there is any coloration between his eating and his GI issues. Hopefully we'll have answers soon! That sounds really frustrating! I hope they can figure something out to help him. |

Expert 1163 | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge Hi Team! I was feeling a under the weather today, so I figured I should take a rest day from training as well. . . don't want to push too hard if my body's trying to tell me something! Anyways, I got my 20-miler in on Saturday. I guess that's my last hard training run for this race - and it's now in the books! Now I'm in taper mode! Yee haw! Edited by yogachic 2010-03-29 9:35 PM |

Expert 1163 | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge As for this month's goals, I've already made my running and yoga goals. I'm very close to my lifting goal and will probably finish that up on Wednesday. I'm very behind on my biking goal, but it's supposed to be nice out tomorrow and Wednesday, so hopefully I will feel better tomorrow so I can get some good outdoor riding in! |

I was able to get in a swim this morning, so I'm getting closer to my swim goal. I just went for a jog/walk with my daughter... it's difficult to run while pushing her in her wheelchair, but managed to get in a little bit of a workout. Plus it was nice to get out of the house. This weekend is supposed to be spectacular weather-wise. Can't wait to head out for a family bike ride. Have a great day bEASTies and let's get in a bunch of training over the next 2 days!!! Bill you rock!! And I am not self-posting here Do you have an athletic wheelchair for her or the standard? That is awesome - you are a superbly awesome father - keep it up!!!! Thank you for the kind words, Bill. No, we just have her standard wheelchair, but we're looking into various pieces of equipment that will help to include Rachel in our ever-increasingly-athletic lifestyle. |

But I will end up at or over 100% total. This has been fun group and a great challenge. I'm already signed up for April. Have a great day of workouts, bEASTies! |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge Holy moly. We are floating away here. We haven't had this much rain and flooding since the 1930s. Kathy, how are you guys doing in RI? I hope you are fairing okay. My house is dry but I am one of the few I know. Seems like everyone is bailing water. The roads are nasty too. I had to go to the lab today (45 minutes away) and it was a super stressful drive. Who is gonna help me build the ark? |

Expert 1246 West Grove, PA | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge Got another swim in today... I am now 1900 yds away from my goal in swimming and just a few miles away in running, so I should be able to wrap that up tomorrow. My love/hate relationship with swimming is quickly turning into a hate/hate relationship. I'm just so slow that it makes me want to swim less, which in turn makes me slower! Whatev... the workout is in the books. It is rainy and cold here today. BLAH! |

Master 2146 East Side of the Bay | Subject: RE: bEASTies TWO - March Winds Challenge billsorg - 2010-03-30 8:05 AM I do not know if it is still the case but years ago the Knights of Columbus had a program that people could apply to for the purchase of equipment for handicapped children. My hubby's cousin was able to get a wheelchair they could take off road. You did not need to be Catholic to apply. Every year they do a tootsie roll sale and the money went towards that program. YOu might look into it. Just look up your local Knights of Columbus Chapter in the phone book.wgraves7582 - 2010-03-29 3:51 PM billsorg - 2010-03-29 3:37 PM Very dreary day here.
