Joshua (i146q), what school do you attend?  What are you studying there?

I attend the local Community College, Sinclair, with hopes of transferring after I graduate in 6 months. Mainly my studies and degree will be in Psychology. And right now I'm torn between research, and medicine... I guess my GPA will most likely help decide that! Et vous? Any school, work, aspirations... ? Tri-training right!?!?!? One of the things I find that helps with the training and vice versa, is structure. Find a time of day or night and dedicate it to training. Though most people train when and where they can... my schedule is soooo hectic that if I don't pencil myself in, I'd never get it done.

I thought you were wearing floaties??? That would for sure, slow me down... You must have been chasing (fried) fish! Great job. Like enders, I'm proud of you too... Whatever happened to the 'Comet eat Tupuppy' Challenge??? If I were you I'd be rubbing this latest success in his face!

If Comet can do that Tri in 56 min...SIGN ME UP!!!  His T1 time is almost the same as his swim time.  What did they do give you a motorboat?

for some reason mystart time is 15 minute later than the rest of the sprinters.

sure does make beating this years swim time next year a bit difficult

Sounds like a good goal...but I do love backstroke (it was my specialty when I was a swimmer)

Does the 12 minutes include the run to transition in this race (and how long) or is it just the water time?

Congratulations Comet! You did awesome triathlete!!!

Sorry your race turned into a du Enders, but nice job on the dually!!

Tricupcake, congrats!

Abbie, you and hubby look amazing together!

Josh, congrats on an awesome start to your next 90 days!

I finished my first Oly Saturday in 3:09:12. I was one of the last across the finish line, but lhad a great time and was faster than I expected to be. Now I'm off to the woods for a few days of hiking and camping in Waterton Park, BC. I won't be weighing in until next week since I'll be away and I don't even want to look at a scale right now. Hope you all have a great week!!!

just the time in the water. however next year i know to put some water sandels or something to wear to the transition point. 100 yards from the water on pavement and gravel. kinda hard on the soles of my feet.

Poor baby and his tender feetsies.  However, I know what you are talking about.  Nothing like stepping on a rock while barefoot running.

Welcome!

We weigh in on Wednesdays. We set monthly goals. Some of us even meet them.

No formal challenge, really - just some folks to be accountable to when you're trying to lose or maintain weight...I don't remember anyone joining us to gain weight - but some of us (no names) are really really good at gaining it.

I'm on a Specialized Dolce (entry-level WSD roadie)...it's purple which is the main selling point. J/k - it's a great bike for me.

And have I ever mentioned how absolutely disturbing your avatar is?

What is this social interaction crap? I like running because I do it alone. The rest is all good though.
