Van Paulus, you do remember that Baowolf killed Grendel, yes? Is this a rematch?

One more week before I go in for Sinus surgery, then no working out for 2 weeks.

I haven't been off for that long since I knee surgery and that was about 15 years ago.

I can still walk so my dog will be happy and I will be able to finish my goal, werewolves.

It will be nice to be able to breath again though, maybe it will help my running times.

Friend talked me into an 18.5 mile trail run for next Saturday, so tapering, but 8 miles for today. And, I did a 1 mile fast run in the middle at 6:20 woot. Fastest I have done a 1 mile in well um since er maybe ever.

But, that puts me at 70/90 = 77 percent so I should be able to hit my goal without too much difficulty. My longest run was this week at 15 miles so the 18.5 will be new teritory and I hear there are some big hills. Oh well, at least I don't have ti swim and bike first, maybe after...

Did a brick today, 13 on the bike and 4 run.  My first brick since getting a tri bike and wow my legs didn't feel like rubber.  I am at 43 miles for the month, 17 left to go, should be no problem.

Hey wolves!

Anyone hear from Shawn?  He hasn't logged anything for October.

Mararunner - Can you update the spreadsheet with your monthly totals?  Looks like you're doing time and not miles so I'm not sure what you're wanting to include from your logs or I would have just put up your mileage.

Got my first 8 mile run in over the weekend.   Wasn't fast (9:07 miles), but felt comfortable the entire run which was great.  Looking forward to my first double digit run next month.

Good job everyone on keeping up with the scheduled miles!

Where or Where is Shaun???

I have been MIA, just updated with my sad, unfortunate 1/2 marathon that consisted of 10 miles. Even though I was hoping for more, this is really good for me actually. I am on track and will get or exceed goal so I am doing okay all in all

Howwwoooooolllll to all

and a great big Melon-press for those horny melons)

Ya the dragon died too... it just hurt more. The biggest challenge for Beowulf was actually the temptress and he failed that one big time. Fortunately I am married to the most beautiful, patient and loving woman so not a problem for me 8) coming up on 20th anniversary next spring.

Nice run at that distance and pace Todd. Anything over 8 miles and I drop off from a 8/9 ish pace to closer to 10 min pace. This weekend's race is gona be painful, maybe a 10:30 pace.

Glad to have you back Shawn!

I got in 4.5 miles today.  That leaves me with .1 miles to go for the monthly goal.   Definately need to up my 'goal' mileage next month as I'll be over again this month.
