Actually, looking at the chart im pretty sure im gonna fall into the "Level 2" range. Think it would be OK to just go with that so that I can get the week 1 work-out in Tues-Thurs-Sat? Then I can start on week 2 next Monday?

Set up whatever schedule works for you.  Tonight sounds like a great night to start!

colesdad - 2008-11-03 6:32 AM Completed Week 4 on Saturday 29, 33, 29, 29, 40. Felt good and will start week 5 on tomorrow.

Felt good, eh?  Who would have thought, huh?!  You're almost there!!!!

Gettin' there. Week 5 starts tonight with at least 180 total according to the chart. Have had to "warm up" with about 15 pushups as the 1st set has been causing so pain in my wrist/thumb area. I think it's a bit of carpal tunnel but a little warm up scares it away.

Yeah, I hear ya!  When I started this I was just dropping and knocking 'em out ~ no wonder I was friggen sore, huh?!  I've since learned (and it only took me a couple of weeks ) to take a minute to warm up.

Week 3 Day 1

10/12/7/7/14 = 50

I feel like I'm doing the same amount of push ups as last week but I have to admit that they are getting easier and my max is going up~ a sign of things yet to come?  We shall see!

Finally started week 3. Arms still felt weak from my toning class from yesterday, therefore my max set was just the minimum requirement:

WEEK3, DAY1: 10,12,7,7,9=45

Alright barely squeezed out Day1 Week 5 last night.

36, 40, 30, 24, 40 - 170

Struggled a bit at end of set 2 and 3 but made it through the 5th set a bit easier. Strange.

um...pretty awesome.

I always seem to struggle through  some of those middle sets and then have a strong last set. It is strange.

Got started late.  Day 2 last night.

OUCH!  What a wimp I am!!!  My wrists were hurtin'.  Off to Walmart today to pick-up those hand thingies to keep my wrists in good position.

So far so good!  Looks like a tough challenge!

Hey don't feel bad. I have the same problem, it's the only thing I don't like about push-ups. How much do those "things" you mentioned cost? I wonder if it would be cheaper to just get a couple of 5LB octagnal dumb bells? That's what I use at the gym and it seem to do well.

W2-Day 2

14-16-12-12-/M-17

I have to do better about logging these on the right day....Don't know why I struggle so much with the W2-D2 set.  This is the 2nd time I have done this week and I struggle with this set each time...oh well.

The Perfect Pushups are at Walmart for $19.99.  I'm doing my 1st 1-2 sets on the floor with them & then I have to move to my bench push-ups.  I'm hoping by the end of the program I'll be doing all of them on the floor with the "thingies".  They really help my wrists, but it's a lot harder for this girl to do guy pushups on the floor!

Day 3, Week 1 Column 2

8, 10, 7, 7, 10 ... WOW!

Cool. Thanks for the link. Are the ones at Wal-Mart the same ones or some "Knock-off" brand?
