Champion 10742 Ames, IA | Subject: RE: PowerPuff Girls blujay65 - 2009-04-01 9:54 PM Hey all! Nice to be in another challenge! Yea! I'm Jen from Mississippi. In Birmingham for work stuff, lost INTERNET for a few days due to storms. So I am just catching up. This is my first tri season, loving it so far. Basically I am a newer runner, had an injury, started doing multi sports while healing my foot. Love it so much, never going back. I did my first ever duathlon two weeks ago, have two sprints planned for the summer, a few more little du's, and a half marathon in June. I will be using running for my challenge, since I feel I need to get back up to pre injury numbers to prep for my half. So my challenge is to get up to 8.5 miles by the end of the month. Hi Jen! Welcome to the team! Congrats on your first du! |

I did two relay and two by myself last year and then I decided that I needed to learn how to swim if I wanted to compete into a triathlon eventually. I remember my first duathlon I was looking at all those twiathletes and I wanted to do it too.

Great job on the table And yes, it's in my log Didn't I read that Shoeless was added to our team? If so we need to put Shoeless on our table. Or was that an AFJ? |

How's your swimming coming along. I just learned how about a year ago and after making it through the first season I finally started getting some lessons. They've helped a ton! |

How's your swimming coming along. I just learned how about a year ago and after making it through the first season I finally started getting some lessons. They've helped a ton! I am slowly getting there, I got the fitness to do the distance I need to complete my sprints and oly for this summer. Now I just need to get the speed to get out of the water before the winner gets his medal |

Expert 1202 Montana | Subject: RE: PowerPuff Girls Hi team! I am one of the late comers. I am looking forward to a chatty team this month! My super power is for biking, so I may be the odd man out on this team, but I will not let you down. I've only been able to get outside for a ride twice due to the weather. I have a race on the 11th. Hopefully I'll get few warm dry days before then. Stats: I'll be 40 on Wednesday. I'm a married, SAHM of three teenage girls. I was coerced into swimming for a team triathlon in April of 2007, and I've never looked back. I've lost 40+ pounds since my first tri, 60 pounds since my heaviest. I've never missed 100% on my challenge goals (though I did sweat it some last month.) I have two team sprints, two solo sprints, an olympic, a 10K and a half mary on my slate, plus I'd like to do a 130 mile bike ride. RATPOD I won't be able to do the actual event, as it falls at a bad time of year for me, but I want to ride the route in July. ETA: I have been spinning twice a week for my bike mileage.
