My heartrate was a mess.... By the time the rest interval was over I was still in the peak zone! This plan should wipe me into shape in a jiffy though!

I couldn't get my HR that high, think though that I need to work on the lower end of intensity given my legs.....last thing I want to do is pizz them off again and send my butt back in to that PT office!

Had to take yesterday off...but no worries, I was able to ride two hours outside in shorts. The weather for this time of year is SO strange. Saturday was 38* and today was 60*.Plan to get another outdoor ride in tomorrow. I would like to avoid putting my arse on the drainer for as long as possible.

Finished day 2 of Jorge's workouts last night. Realized I started this plan at t he wrong time - I have a marathon Sunday, right before Monday's test! Maybe I'll move it to Wednesday?

Lovely! It's been pretty great riding weather here too recently but now we are heading into summer its getting hotter and hotter so riding is getting earlier and earlier in the morning!

Specialized had a demo day near us yesterday so I took a gorgeous bike for a spin on the trails, I've been thinking about getting myself a half decent mtb for a while...you can never have too many bikes right?!....and it was great, the bike was amazing. I did stack the bike though, came off a mini bridge with one wheel, had nowhere to go and so I went over the handle bars and sideways with the bike on top of me. Mostly just superifical cuts and bruises but I have banged up my right knee massively, walking is an issue right now even. I'm hoping its just all the swelling though...with any luck....and I am still hankering after a new bike!

OMG! I hope your knee is better. That must have raised a few eyebrows when you brought the bike back.

Thank goodness the bike was fine because it was a pretty pricey model! The swelling is going down quite nicely now thanks, still a bit sore and stiff but nothing compared with the first couple of days

Love the sweaty banter I was on the pup list yesterday (physically unable to perform) Doc ok'ed an easy ride to... So Jorge will have to wait. HAPPY HUMP DAY! hope every one is gettin sweaty!

I did a great spin class yesterday that made me really sweat. I took monday off as on Sunday I did a swim run brick with a 12k run. Today is a run day and I will do an easy bike.

The formula is wrong on my sheet in the spreadsheet and it does not calculate my % complete.

I love the motivation I see.

I seem to be unable to get my HR up on the trainer. Anyone else have this problem? I've noticed it the past few years. I can't get it above 133, yet on the spin bike yesterday I was in the 170s. My pedal stroke isn't nearly as smooth on the trainer, I'm thinking the 2 are correlated...

Check your tire to trainer tension.  Sounds like it is not right, either too tight or too loose...  I know when mine was not right, the pedal stroke would get "jerky" for lack of a better word....

Yesterday was nearly 70 in Massachusetts. Rode outside for 2 hours before I had to go to work.

Thanks for the challenge Lisa...its keeping me motivated to get out and ride while I still can!!!

i haven't been able to get my heart rate up into the zone 5 yet either - but i've been afraid to puke on the bike

good morning...a nice 2.5 hour ride this morning!!!! that was my am commuter, a quick shower and its only 8:30am. it was a little brisk in the suburban los angeles foothills this morning. but i am trying to build back up the quad strength that i lost for being injured for a month. have a terrific thursday everyone.

Tires are good but I'll check the tension again. I was playing with it the other night and barely touching it it either took it all off (didn't even touch the wheel) or made it super tight. I can't find the happy medium I'll play some more tonight for tomorrows ride. Thanks y'all

Its awesome. My chest is killing me! I'm psyched tho- I didn't think I could love the garmin 310xt more than I already do but last night I uploaded the workout into it and it was Fantastic this morning. I could focus on the workout instead of watching the minutes /seconds. HAPPY Friday everyone
