Extreme Veteran 514 Perkasie, PA | Subject: RE: August - 2nd Annual Boy's vs Girls Swim / Run Challenge !! MARY -- Good luck with your swim workouts! I'm sure you will fit in as much as you can. And good luck finding a new pool. I'm spoiled -- I have an outdoor pool 2 blocks up from my new house. I swam this morning in the rain -- and in this heat, it was sweet. Speaking of heat -- I ran last night, in spite of the heat wave (heat index of 110 today). I'm sure you are all pushing too -- keep up the good work! (Great job Mitzi!) BOYS ARE ICKY!!! Expert 626 Las Vegas, NV | Subject: RE: August - 2nd Annual Boy's vs Girls Swim / Run Challenge !! All right all, after this post, i don't want any excuses for not swimming. If you go to this link, it will provide every pool available around you. Now if you know of a pool tht exists, and it is not listed, please make sure you email them so that it can be added. Here is the link: http://www.swimmersguide.com/ Now this also covers every pools overseas, so if you travel to a foreign country, they should have a pool. I looked where I grew up in the pacific ocean, and even found the two pools that exist in the capital for training. Good luck. Now guys, I see some slacking in your training logs, let's please step it up, since I noticed the girls are stepping it up. I sure don't want to have to wear a thong for the month of september. Clydedales in thongs just don't go together. Lot's lets get rolling gentleman!! |

Regular 97 Grosse Pointe, Michigan | Subject: RE: August - 2nd Annual Boy's vs Girls Swim / Run Challenge !! No, the faster swimming was because I was tasked to do it through my TNT training program. (Lots of sprint work and a big pyramid swim.) For some reason, the PowerGel worked quite well last night, I really did have a great workout overall. The 300 yard "cool down" turned into a 1000 yard cool down thanks to this challenge though!!! |

That's it, keep over-training so you develop tendinitis or something alike so that you have to stop working out and bust making your goal...just saying, it's been known to happen Edited by Donto 2007-08-08 1:13 PM |

It will be a pleasure to win this challenge, won't it gals????????? If I swam till my place closed, I'd be done in about a day 1/2 of swimming. My gym is open 24hrs a day, so that wouldn't work. Don't get too excited, since we are more than likely going to see you all in your two piece's next month. Don't try to flatter your all self lady's. At this point, you are all behind adn drooling, and will be staying behind watching our hinds. Cheers!! |

They think they can beat the men in this challenge, but what they failed to consider when signing up, is we are REAL men not the mamby, pamby little wimps and wussies they work with. Just like Ceasar, Veni Vidi vici we come, we see, we conquer! |
