It's Tuesday and I'm waiting for blinds to be delivered as well as trying to figure out how to get replacement parts for an Ikea bookshelf that the movers kinda mangled. Why the heck doesn't Ikea sell replacement parts??? That just seems dumb. And annoying. Hello, my brilliant beautiful beloved be-moved bookcase-broken Tangerines ... {TANGEMELONS PRESSES} When I did moving shipment of furniture, the only thing that got mangled was my two bookcases. I think they forget that they are "hollow" in between the shelves and pack heavy boxes on top and around the cases. |

Why the heck doesn't Ikea sell replacement parts??? That just seems dumb. And annoying. I have never gotten replacement parts from Ikea but that seems like it would be a PITA. I just got off the phone with Ikea and apparently they don't offer replacement parts at all. All they offer are these little grab bags of miscellaneous parts and you have to just hope and pray that the parts you need are somewhere in there. Massive PITA. Grrrrrrrrrrrr! What kind of part do you need? The little wooden pegs/dowels that help hold pieces together and apparently are all different shapes and sizes depending on what piece of furniture you're putting together. PITA! |

Any rain down there? We got a few clouds but nothing even close to rain. I was seriously disappointed. Nope! BUT we almost did .. I guess the ground temp was too hot and did not allow the clouds to dump .. they were black and ominous and scary though. I watched an entire hour long program hosted by the local meteorologists on our monsoon season and how and why they develop. Clearly I have a lot of time on my hands! But think of the knowledge base you'll have? I venture to say you could develop into a desert meteorologist in almost no time. And I had another White Mocha this morning..with whip cream |
