I am back and I'll update the spread sheet shortly. Nothing like giving the other team a false sense of security!!!

D001 - 2010-03-21 8:11 PM Challenge update! Oh my, there's been some changes in the wind..... Here are the current standings: 1st place - T.W.I.S.T.E.R. - 57.3% 2nd place - bEASTies - 53.6% BUT it's only March 21st, and the month is only 68% finished. Who will win the challenge? Keep working out (and post padding, of course)!

Don't worry bEASTies... I forgot to update the spreadsheet yesterday... so our % will be a good bit higher.  Dee... I kneel to you and await my tazing!

I haven't updated either.  Off to do that.

KOM - 2010-03-21 8:36 PM It is always a reminder to me that what is most important in life is not things or even careers, but the connections of friends and family....and sharing a beer (or vodka), good food and the history of a shared life together!!!

So true, Kathy!

Bill - did you do a RR?  If so do you have the link for it or what was 1/2 named?  Thanks!

Top of the morning to you Mr. Bill!  Race report shall be forthcoming later today!  Have a nice day and be sure to blow off all your workouts and TWISTER posting!  (Twister posting... that sounds kinda naughty).

Good morning, team bEASTies!
What a fantastic weekend!  The weather was absolutely perfect, had a great race yesterday and had lots of fun family activities.  What more could you ask for!  The only downside is I am so sore today it was tough just to roll (literally) out of bed.  But it's a "good" sore.  The rest of the month will be focused on getting to my biking and swimming goals.  Look out TWISTERS... we've got our bEASTie little eyes on you!

Sadly, my info on the spreadsheet is up to date... but I intend to remedy my pathetic swim totals for the month today. Hoping to go this afternoon if I don't get called to pick up my daughter from school. I think she got this nasty cold I have. She was in tears when I put her on the bus this morning... If I do have to go get her, I'll head over to the Y tonight when hubby gets home. That might be better actually because then I can run on the indoor track too instead of having to run outside in the cold rain or on the dreadmill at home. Hmmm... decisions...

Back from Kenya on Saturday night.  No training took place at all.  I was hoping to run so I could learn some secrets, but it didn't happen.  An amazing trip - lots of poverty and suffering, but lots of joy too.

I need to get back on track and am heading out for a run - first one outside in a long time!

Race report is now posted (for those interested) and I've attached the link below.  I think my newfound chattiness from these challenges has transferred to my race reporting.

I updated my Sunday workout. . . But last week was a rest week for me and I definitely took full advantage of it!  I'm definitely going to finish strong for the last part of the month!  (I kind of have to, with my 20-miler coming up on Saturday. . . GULP!)

Happy Monday bEASTies!  I have a lifting session planned for after work, and will probably hop on the trainer when I get home.  I'm falling behind in those two goals, so I'm going to start chipping away at them!!

I did a run this morning but I had to shorten it up a bit because of my hammie injury. This won't have any effect on the challenge since I'm logging runs by session.

Why yes it is!  That is why I need to lose 7 pounds.    Usually it is more about wine but since I gave it up for Lent, food has taken it's place.  And I thought I was gonna lose weight by giving up wine.  Silly me!
