I'm keeping a running tally today of how many times my boss pops his head in my office. Any wagers?

How much does your boss do this?

Never. My boss works in another state.

I'll take a swag at the number of head pops from your boss but need some info first; what are you wearing?

Oi   I swear you guys are jinxing me.  My boss never does this to me.  I read this and he has been down here 3 times in the last 30 mins.  That never happens.  WTH?

Teejaay - 2012-06-26 8:25 AM I know nothing of these "whitepants" you speak of.  I only know that I hate white pants on me.

Any rain down there?  We got a few clouds but nothing even close to rain.  I was seriously disappointed.

Nope! BUT we almost did .. I guess the ground temp was too hot and did not allow the clouds to dump .. they were black and ominous and scary though.  I watched an entire hour long program hosted by the local meteorologists on our monsoon season and how and why they develop.  Clearly I have a lot of time on my hands!

But think of the knowledge base you'll have?  I venture to say you could develop into a desert meteorologist in almost no time.

And I had another White Mocha this morning..with whip cream

Between that knowledge base AND the one I have on the versatile and mighty cod fish ... no telling what I can accomplish.  My choices are limitless!

I had a 1/2 cup of pumpkin flax granola with strawberries and almond milk and 33 ounces of water.  Can't nobody tell me that I don't take life right to the edge!!

Geez, if you are still this wild, I can only imagine what you were like 10 years ago before you settled down some.  Sharks and tornadoes instead of Cod and Monsoons?

Bahaha... ummm... chocolate brown dress pants and a pink blouse (with cream cami underneath). High chocolate brown sandal heels.

Who wants to hear about the start of my wonderful day?

I slog downstairs to start the coffee machine before jumping into the shower and I get  half way down and my eyes snap open because I smell...  I don't know - WATER.  I know water doesn't smell, but if you ever been in a flood, it does...  I'm like "o crap, this aint good"...

Step off the last stop onto the tile floor and *splash*  1/4" of standing water...

I rush into the downstairs bathroom and sometime during the night, the faucet O-ring blew and had a gyser of water shooting up hitting the ceiling like you see in all the old 3 stooges shows.

It's a disaster.  BUT, I keep thinking it could be worse.  It could have been when I was on vacation or on the second floor.

I will have to repaint the bathroom after retexturing the walls.  The water bubbled the paint.  Several are rugs are probably ruined.  I put them in the sun to dry, so maybe they will be ok and not stink, but who knows.  Some other things got waterlogged, but nothing too valuable.  I'm just glad I had my laptop on the steps instead of in the bag on the floor where I keep it sometimes...

So 2 hours of clean up this morning and hours and hours of repairs are in store for me.

Was eating a delicious pan-fried trout for lunch and bit something crunchy. Spit that out and thought for a bit it was a vertebra. Nope, it was 1/2 of my molar. I'm now a walk in patient at Research Triangle Dental to see what can be done until Thursday when I see my regular dentist.

That JUST happened to me.  Eating some taffy, and something cruchy was in it.  Spit it out, and it was metal.  I was all ready to get my lawer involved to get after the candy maker then felt around with my tougue about an hour later and realized my back crown was gone...  I don't have dental insurance, so two replacement crowns (I also replace the other one in my mouth per my dentist's suggestion)...  1600 bucks...  Ouch.  That's a new set of golf clubs or  half a carbon fiber road bike.

But honestly, I think about our good friend JD we lost, and realize, these are just small bumps.

There are ways to have sex that don't involve the possibility of pregnancy.

And she can't get a replacement pack or just re-fill it early?
