Soooo....I was very close to being a racing manatee this morning. Local 5k was an option. But when I really thought about it last night,  I chose getting a sitter for several hours to trail run with DH. Pay $10 per mile to run 3mi with people I don't know when I'm not in "running form" after the last few weeks, or pay $10 per hour to run 9.5mi with hubs? Gorgeous morning again! I do need new trail shoes, though. Sore feet :/

Hello all,

I apologize for not being around much lately, I have not even been on BT for the past week or so. Just when you think things can not get worse they do, which seems to be the status of my life lately. For the past week I have been running maintenance in my company (12 hr days), trying to schedule maintenance and keep aircraft flying (we have 21), studying, wishing I could get some training in, and dealing with some "fun" legal issues. I found out my ex-wife sent a letter to my bosses-bosses-boss that I was not paying what I was supposed to, that I was being sued from an old business loan, that a previous lawsuit is trying to garnish my wages, and dealing with filling bankruptcy. Just a few of the "fun" legal issues, add that to my Business Law class and I think I am tired of the legal system in the US. I am also trying to get things together for my drive out of Alaska and dealing with new issues with the Parenting Plan when I am closer to the kids.

So...

I wish I was still streaking but I have not been able to get a workout in for the past 10 days. My body is resorting to a night schedule for studying so I am having trouble getting up early to fit a workout in. I have 1 week left of running maintenance so I am hoping to gt back to some form of training a week from Monday. The guys in my company are telling me they think I am an a$$, I tell them it is because I am not getting my workouts in, they say I need to start again.

I hope everyone is well, and I will try to check in more. I also want to get back to my normal training for my sanity. Sorry if this fell under TMI. I am sure I missed a lot over the past 40 pages, I might skim to try and catch up.

Haha, it's true.

A friend that's done a HIM joked with me that it's funny when these previously impossible distances become our 'short runs'.

Wow, sorry you are dealing with so much right now.  Thanks for checking in, we have been worried!  You did miss some incredibly witty banter in the past 40 pages, but I am sure it will be repeated in the not so near future, so not to worry!  I hope things smooth out for you sooner rather than later.  Hang in there!

In this pod absolutely no such thing as TMI.  Sorry you're having a hard time with your ex.  I NEVER understand that bitter vengeful streak that comes out in couples. I think by the time I've finished with a relationship most all emotion is gone - good or bad!

I hope you get all the allegations and accusations straightened out.  Sounds like she has real issues.  I hope the parent plan all works out for you too - be nice for you and the kids.

And as for being an A$$ we all turn into one when you take away our addiction - training!  Not the worst addiction in the world to have, when I'm being cranky at home my husband says - go for a run please.  It always works.

Anyway - I'm rambling - hope it all works out, let us know. Cheers Jo

My favourite thing never fails to amuse me is when I say I'm just doing a 10km run.  In fact I just swam on my lunch break and I JUST did 1500m.  Hardly worth getting wet for. Embarassed

Dude, sorry to hear about your issues.  I had a real bad streak of about 18 months.  I now joke that I was a walking country song.

Sold my truck (didn't want to), gave back my house, shut down my business, and lost my wife... all in about 18 months.

While you were away, I revealed my own bankruptcy, my credit score, and my criminal background (don't have one).... There is no way you can share too much information around here.

Hang in there... one day, things will be all better, and if you keep up the hard work, it will pay off.   If you need to chat with someone, don't hesitate to hit me up.
