Last night I was at the local eatery (read: bar and grill) having a drink and a bite to eat and this girl who used to be a regular walks in. We all say hello and she goes and sits down with a friend. She and I have spoken once. ONCE in our lives. Eventually I leave saying bye to everybody (but not her since I don't know her well enough) and take off. So I just got a text saying ``Haha. (Name withheld) says she thinks you're creepy.'' I said ``Who???'' and he said ``That girl that used to come into Villain's who was in last night. After you left last night, she said `That guy gives me the creeps.''' Am I creepy!? I wonder what I said to her to give her the creeps!? Or maybe it's the way I look at her or something. Maybe it's just the way I look. Double-U Tee Eff??? Such a great story! And you didn't seem creepy to me... but my creep standards are, uh... i've known some creeps. Some very creepy creeps. These things suck. Just do it more often, then you'll get used to it. Used to do it daily. Stopped for some good reasons. Had a customer call me last night and invite me to dinner, which may or may not be inviting my expense account to dinner. As he was leaving the girl I've been talking to showed up=more drinking. Good times were had, hopefully by all. |

This is my busy part of the year and I hate wasting time going through all of the hoops involved. I have really good credit, so you wouldn't think it would be an issue, but banks are way afraid to loan money right now, so the loan approval process is longer and then the negotiating part and then the home inspection and then setting the closing date, and then the actual closing and then the moving and then the buying more furniture because my wife thinks that 8 people live in our house instead of 4, and then the replacing the floor in the dining room because it is carpet and she wants tile, etc..... I HATE IT. |

I think it's a good idea. You see - this is why I need to put Schwamm in charge. We think way too much alike. BTW, it is closer to the lake, by design. |
