MAK Attack - Corny Name using intials.

Justin and I will converse on costum but not sure how receiptive Mark would be to the limited clothing.

KelliD - 2010-02-01 12:18 PM Don't know why I didn't think to post about this sooner!  I'm doing a 3-person relay in a couple weeks and we have to come up with our team name by today. We're all drawing a blank.  Any  assistance/suggestions in coming up with a good/creative name would much appreciated!!  We are also very open to running in costumes (something inexpensie & easy to make).  Our team is myself, triathlete friend Anne and fellow runner Mark.   PLEASE HELP

Not bad - shifted focus from run to bike a bit.  I know the bike times are going up.  Run will stay about the same and the swim needs to crank WAY up.

Finally back to training today with a nice 3 mile run. It felt absolutely amazing and left me in a great mood! I never thought I would get to the point where I enjoy running but today has changed my mind. Question for the group: Anyone know any good hip flexor stretches? I always feel some soreness in my hip flexors after running... thought it would be good to stretch them really well after running.

Good Morning all.  So, for the time being, I think we can just call me Murphy.  As in, Murphys law.  It's been one heck of a week.

So now that I'm over the embarassment of it all... on Saturday morning I got up, got dressed for a run, and went into the kitchen to cut up an apple to eat on my way out to the trail.  We just got a new knife set, so the knives are super sharp.

You guessed it, I sliced the hell out of my finger.  But that's not even the worst of it.

I do'nt have a touchy stomach at all, but for some reason, it hurt so bad and there was enough blood (I wo'nt be graphic) that everything went black and I, evidently, passed out cold.  I came to a few minutes later but I caught the corner of my kitchen counter on the left side of my head right behind my ear as I was going down.

So I spent most of the day Saturday in the hospital.  By myself.

Lovely.

Feeling better by Monday, but talk about embarassing.  I've never fainted in my entire life.
