So I've decided that I'd like to be independently wealthy so that I don't have to work anymore.  Does anyone have a get-rich-quick scheme that is 100% fool-proof and 100% guaranteed?  No?  Darn.

Call your cell phone number from your home phone and listen for the ringing.  I have to do this at least a couple times per month because I'm always setting it down somewhere, or it falls out of my pocket and into the La-Z-Boy (not that I spend all my time there!).

meeee tooo! but more on a daily bases! But usually find it right away, it has been missing all day yesterday!

LOL... I've had that same thought a lot lately too!

I haven't figured out my plan yet. But I'm thinking I might be destined to "win for life".

rnihill - 2010-03-22 10:32 PM Of course, now it's after 10 and I have the swimming hungries. Not good for goal #4. But I'm STARVING!

I am bombing in my weight loss goal.  I have gained weight this month.  But, I still have a few days to drop some pounds, right???  All is not lost yet!
Yeah, I'm nt exactly rocking my goal either... This weight is SO stubborn! Even being sick the last week hasn't done anything! I too am counting on the fact that there is still a week to go!!

It's been my observation that weight loss goals make poor challenge goals. I don't think I've ever had a teammate who was successful with this.

I once lost a lens from sunglasses in the car. I was sure it fell between the seat and the console but I just couldn't find it. Every so often I'd look again, without luck. Eventually I gave up and threw the frames away. Quite a while later I was in an accident where I rear-ended another car. Found the lens at my feet, jarred loose from wherever it was hiding.

MDHillSlug - 2010-03-22 9:31 PM I ran in a light rain this morning. the leg is still bothersome so I shortened up the distance. So stupid! I'm not enjoying this!

I had another massage session tonight. It was really good; he worked on my legs and then did a lot of body relaxation stuff. However we've decided that I should lay off the biking and running for a week or so. I will continue to swim but I will need to take an injury adjustment for the rest.

DEE!

I assume I can take an injury reduction?

I don't think I've ever injured myself getting out of the pool. At least not that I remember. But I do injure myself IN the pool a lot. I constantly bash my fingers into lane lines. I tend to scream curses in the water when I do this... hopefully the sound really is muffled so noone can make out the words. I also nail my ankles on the side of the pool occasionally doing flip turns. And I swear my ribs are like magnets to people sharing the lane and doing breaststroke. But I can't get any more out of their way without bashing my fingers into the lane line... It's a vicious cycle for me.

ebshot - 2010-03-23 8:38 AM My plan has me doing nothing today.  I am not sure I'll do nothing as I am behind in my running goal.  Perhaps a few miles in the rain would be good for the soul, no?

Nope sure wouldn't - but yes it really would.

It is hard being such a mean spirited good guy.  I never know what to say - lol

Personally I luv running in the rain - very soothing!

I enjoy it too.  It was an easy call, I headed out for 3 miles.

Nope!  I did it last year.  I was just a few weeks out from my HIM and I had strained my quads playing softball.  I jumped out of the pool and ended up pulling my right one.  It wasn't pretty.  I still have issues with it every now and then.

I am off to deliver my wonderful, yet flighty, daughter's lunch box.  She forgot it on the counter.  Then I shall eat lunch myself!  Baked potato with some turkey chili is calling my name!

Oh, one more piece of news here.  I am so excited, our insurance company APPROVED COLE'S HEARING AIDS!!!   So, now the audiology people submit the payment forms and then after they get paid, Cole will be able to get them.  I wish we could do it now but at $2000 a piece, I can see why they want payment first!

I've usually seen that they will approve them for kids, but not for adults. I have a hearing aid in one ear that I managed to get paid through my spouse's insurance.
