For your entertainment our annual family superbowl wagering questions.  We've been doing this for years for some reason to make the game more exciting because none of our teams are ever in the Superbowl.

1. Will any part of Kelly Clarkson’s midriff be shown during the national anthem?

3. What will be the outcome of the coin toss at the beginning of the game?
4. Who will score first?
5. Will the game be tied again after 0-0?
6. Which team will get the first sack?

8. Will any player get an excessive celebration penalty during the game?
9. Which team will use the coach’s challenge first?
10. What color will Madonna’s hair be when she starts her show at halftime?
11. Will she wear any underwear outside of her clothes at any time during her

12. Will she start her performance with a hand held mic or a headset?
13. Over/Under on the Peyton Manning appearances: 7.5?
14. Will the words “Tim Tebow” be mentioned at any time during the game?

Nice hope everyone is doing well.. busy last week didn't check in here much... On the road for work too much.  Just watching the superbowl unfold and trying to catch up on everything I have missed here this week..

Got out for a nice little swim today and a 10k run. Can't believe how warm it has been up here in Canada this winter where I am located. It was sunny and 41-42 degrees here today.

I keep overdressing this winter for runs.

Two weekends in a row traveling to Southern Cal to watch my wife pr the half mary, then the full today!  I am very proud of her even though she didn't listen to me about racing two weekends in a row.  A big woot woot for her.

20 weeks to Ironman Coeur d'Alene, plan starts tomorrow!

Happy Monday Morning!  I'm nearly back to 100% after my food poisoning stint with thai chili shrimp.  Lost a day and a half in the process and probably a pound or two, but feel fairly decent today.  I'll spare you ther rest of the details.

Fatty--how did your race go?

To Chet and David--a big "WAY TO GO"!

We're off for a low key day (not that yesterday wasn't really low key!) to Hannalei Bay (think Puff the Magic Dragon) to laze at the beach and have lunch. 

Wow. Thanks Tony! That was easily the best commerical!. I would haved to experience that! Many years ago I played in the Alumni/Pledge vs. Brother Hockey game for my fraternity. I wnet to RPI and hockey is our onlt Div. I sport. Every year the pledges had to play the house team and they usually sucked. But they were allowed to contact the alumni to get us to play for them.

So this one year we bought an hour of ice time from the school, but RPI made the playoffs and took the ice back for the game against Colgate. We were given the ice right after the game. However because the teams were still there we could not use the locker rooms. So we dressed at the house and drove there. We literally walked in as fans were leaving.

A kid comes up to me and says "do you play for RPI?"

Me: "no."

Him: "Do you play for the other team?'

Me: "no."

Him: "Can I have your stick?"

Me: "No, I need it to play."

Anyway we had more people in the stands still hanging out after the college game than any other game I have played in.

Two side notes: We were also not allowed ot use the hallways and had to climb over the glass near the benches to get on the ice. Second, due to lack of depth on our team I had to play the entire hour. I do not care how long you are on a trainer, skating in full pads for an hour causes more sweat!

It was kind of neat...They had some bud 'live' spots during the game. Hada couple of  bud girls chatting and the hockey players and their families were all at this party. They chatted with a few of them. Pretty unique.

I didn't realize that it was only up here....But i guess they know the audience...

Maybe down in John's neck of the woods, they could have had a mob show up to cheer on a bunch of guys gutting a pig or something like that.
