It is Friday and I am stuck in the office and I cannot focus on that "work" stuff.

I wants to go home and start my weekend.... even though it starts with a 3 hour trainer ride tomorrow.

I wanted to leave about 3 hours ago!  Alas, the people here actually want me to pretend to work for another hour.  Jerks.

Today after work = shiny new phone!  (helllooooooo Samsung Galaxy S5!)

Tomorrow = 2.5-3 hr bike ride followed by a Kentucky Derby party that I STILL need a hat for - WHEEE!

Sunday = 1.5 hr run.  Yay.

What are your immediate thoughts on the S5?

I'm thinking of hitting the Verizon store this weekend to see about getting one.

Oh, did y'all know that the Samsung S3, S4, & S5 have an ANT+ radio in them?  You can use the phone as a bike/run computer paired with all your gadgets, or use it for data uploads..

I worked late on Friday and was all excited about a 3 hour ride today. I sucked it was 90 but a very low relative humidity. I drank 4 bottles of water during the ride and just ran out of energy. I was embarrassed to post the ride on Strava. Plus I have a S3 cell phone with 6 months to go.

It was 81 in Atlanta, spring-ish. I went for a 1:50 walk/run. I give it a 9.5. Really nice to be out amongst the folks.

You are kidding right?

I would like to say good bye to spring. Instead I am still scraping my windows in the morning and looking at frost on the ground.

And I am still having issues when I try to run. So my sanity level is really on the brink right now.

BLECH.  We are having a lovely spring here in South Florida.  Its been coolish in the am and evenings into the 60s which in the 10 years I have lived here I have never had before.  Its been in the 80s-90s at times during the day which is pretty typical for this time of year.

I got a new phone this weekend. Its an LG thingamabob.  My old phone stopped ringing which, when I am on call, is not acceptable.  I like the new one so far.  Its WAY faster than the droid.  I got this one because its small.  I have to wear it on my hip in the OR and sometimes under a 20# lead apron.  I don't want a huge thing on my waist.  I find it interesting that the last few phones i ave gotten the people who work in the cell phone stores are NOT apple iPhone fans.

Nope smashed a record by 9 degrees. Last time we had this early of a 100-degree day was the summer we had 53 days of 100+ degrees. Good times. I was training for IMLOU that summer.

I had the heat on 2 days ago, now the A/C. Kansas.

Somehow whenever you got hit with snow storms we got them a day later. Rain storms a day later. Cold weather a day later and sometimes colder as it came up and across the lakes.

You get warm weather and it runs away and I wake up to 34 degrees and frost on the ground. with a high of 46 today. Which you know I wouldn't be so unhappy with if the sun would come out.

I guess I shouldn't complain it has rained almost every day off an on for the last few days and that isn't snow. But man. We are way below average temps here.

Thursday is supposed to be 70. but I feel when I read the forecast they do that to inspire some level of happiness. It instills hope of some level. Sadly as the day gets closer you always continue to see it decline. IE yesterday it said Thursday would be 80 today it says 70 tomorrow it will be 60 etc.

I am relying on you to fix this so I can get some warm weather and actually ride my month old bicycle that has about 50 miles on it total.

Pretty please.

Anyhow... Enough about the weather. Today in paris a South African performance artist who tied a live rooster to his penis during an impromptu open-air show near the Eiffel Tower was found guilty of "sexual exhibitionism". The Paris court did not impose a sentence, prosecutors said.

Last September Steven Cohen danced on the tourist-filled Trocadero Plaza dressed in a corset, high heels, long red gloves and an elaborate feathered headdress with a rooster attached to his penis by a ribbon.

Against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, and under the amused and perplexed gaze of tourists, including a group of nuns, the spectacle lasted only a few moments before police arrested Cohen, dragging him across the plaza, rooster attached.

No mention of what happened to the rooster.

Here, I will try to make it better. The prediction here is 85, it is 75 right now, and I'm likely to top your monthly bike mileage this afternoon. How's that? There are auto plants in Tennessee. You might like it here.

Tons of auto plants down there.

However Engineers can't get working visa's as we would be taking jobs away from Americans. I had a temp one back in 2010 when the company I was working for launched a plant. I was down there for several months and considered the full time position however we all had our visa's revoked and were forced to return home early. And the issue was pushed for us to not be there. Canadian owned company in Alabama.

I actually liked the area and would have moved down there.

Contract marriage and green card? I'll be on active military orders all summer and fall. Win/win.

Aww are you asking me to marry you? Do I have to buy you a ring or a new tri bike? is it just dog sitting duties. We should have done this over the winter so I could have been in a warmer climate.

Wait can my mom come visit? hahaha.

With the extra $$ I'd make for being married, you wouldn't owe me a thing.

Most romantic proposal ever? Nailed it!

It could be a lot of things.
- Are you under a lot of stress lately or more so than normal ?
- Even though you haven't had any noticeable changes in diet, since you've been travelling it could be drinking different water.
- It could be a virus type of thing that manifests itself in ways other than concrete flu like symptoms.

Maybe give it a couple more days and if it doesn't get straight make an appointment to see your GP if you have one ?

Two of my favorite things!

Ok, just one of them. I generally enjoy a good TMI story.

In my ongoing saga - the crazy guy blasted the Team Rev3 Tri FB page (I haven't been on the team since 2012!) with beautiful things about me. Former teammate screenshotted it, deleted it, and blocked him.

He also created a twitter account for the sole purpose of contacting one of my current coaching clients. This part is funny. The convo went:

Crazy guy: Normal babbling BS about how I'll lead him on and give him diseases that I myself don't actually have.

Client: as long as I PR, it's cool. #growup

Hahahaha.

Nailed it HAHA

Have you ever watched the video of the person in the cow costume doing the " My Milkshake is better then yours"

I think that is a NAILED it video.

Elaine - Amie said I can get married to you because she isn't quite through her divorce yet but you better be done with me when she is ready.

So I have approval. And I can buy you a tri bike but she wants a ring of some sort but not diamonds cause she believes they are expensive and over rated.
