lisac957 - 2008-11-04 1:42 PM Ooh Kido! I ate McDonalds for the first time in YEARS on Sunday. Then promptly threw it up. But to be fair, I was throwing everything up. I thought of you.

Why?  I hate McDonalds.  Unless the throwing up and Mcdonalds was the connection.

I like taco bell and Jack in the box, or In and Out burger,  maybe 3 times a month total.  That's about it.

Why where you hurling?

In college I used to looooove me some McD's while hungover. For some reason the grease helped. It sounded good at the time because I was HONGRY. Massive hangover from Halloween partying. I was just thinkin' about our fast food conversation last week and how I said I rarely ate it. But I craved it Sunday... weird.

greasy food is great for "day after's".  I would get some greasy mexican food at the Blue Parrot (in Denver)...

So good.

One of my little dogs has an ear infection.  The dr. cleaned it, and now we have to keep up the treatments.  But it's so sore, that he yelps when you mess with it.  I feel terrible that I have to force treatment on him when it hurts him so much....

When I'm done, he retreats under the bed or coffee table for hours and looks at me with fear in his eyes, like I did it on purpose...

That makes me sad.

Aw, poor little guy. It sucks that you can't explain to them that you aren't hurting them. Just make sure you give him a treat afterwards - then he has a positive reward to associate with it, and that might help. And lots of snuggles. Dogs aren't humans, but they understand the basics.

FWIW, our old dog HATED getting his toenails clipped - he was 90 lbs, and both my parents had to hold him down while one fed him bits of ham and the other clipped his toenails. He still loved us

Yeah, I'm going to be really nice and give him some special treats.  He dies for roasted chicken skin.  I may roast one just to give him the skin...

If she got really wasted and then was throwing up all day long, I'm guessing it was the alcohol

There isn't a Krispy Kreme close to me. Or Chik-fil-a and I'm not sure where the closest Ben and Jerry's might be.

It was definitely the alcohol. We consumed some wicked Jungle Juice which consisted of Hawaiian Punch, Cheery Koolaid, Boones Farm Strawberrh Hills, Cherry Vodka, White Rum, Peach Schnapps, and Everclear. Now do you know why I got sick???

I did worry myself though... I've puked once or twice the morning after heavy dranking. Never 10+ times though. I lost count when I couldn't keep a sip of water down...

for my better half, four drinks is perfect.  That's when the wild side appears.  Less than that, no.  More than that, then it's obnoxious drunk time.

Four is about my perfect amount as well. Beyond that, I start to not feel good, and I NEVER want that to happen again. Ugh. I've only been sick twice from alcohol and the second time was enough to never make me want to be there again...

That is the way to have it go.  You know who is going to get sick from the drinking party he's probably throwing right now?  Aaron Rodgers.  Why couldn't I have played football?

Rodgers’ 2008 base salary was increased from $680,000 to a whopping $23.7 million.  Since half the 2008 season is over, he’ll receive $12.9 million in total 2008 base salary(The numbers were first reported by Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press-Gazette.)

Rodgers also is due to receive a $7.42 million roster bonus in early 2009, which as we’re told is fully guaranteed for skill and injury.

you know, there was a quote in the paper back home this weekend that made me so happy....

"I'm just extremely blessed," Rodgers said. "Now I just hope I can give back to this community as much as this organization and community have given to me. It's pretty humbling, to be honest. At 24, to be as fortunate as I am financially is pretty humbling."

how great is it that someone actually realizes that?

yeah.... i remember the beginning of the beer festival. i remember the middle. i do not remember anything afterwards aside from one single flash of an instant when i realized i was in extremely bad shape.

i was told the next morning that it's really quite okay that i don't remember what happened.

Yeah, makes you sick.  I bet they were just chomping at the bit for Favre to go so they can pay Rodgers, with all that extra stash, ya know.
