If we are able to use a wetsuit. What are you going to do in line? Hold it and try and put it on while moving or have it on and take the heat

Good question. I think I will have my legs in and keep the top half open. I am getting nervous just thinking about it.

Accuweather forcast man I hope they are wrong

High: 85 °F RealFeel®: 105 °F

Don't count or worry too much about this. . what comes, comes. . .we can deal with whatever!!

110 degrees with a Heat Index of 130   or  70 degrees and rain. . .don't matter, either way we will all do this thing.

That's kinda funny, because yesterday that site was calling for a high of 78.

Whew!  I spoke to Ann at athlete services and I can race.  I just won't have a bib # assigned to me until the day I check in...thursday.  She said I was taken out but can be put back in no probs.  I have to meet her at special services tent at check in to get my bib#.  They have to write my name in with a sharpie marker. lol
At least I'll be there!

I would not put much thought into that.  Better chance for snow.  Last check water temp was in the 80's.  I would focus on getting everything packed correctly and you have a plan for both pacing and nutrition.

Say hello to #2079 as you pass me.

When I did IM-Florida in '04, the race was run by NAS and they have a great forum platform for the athletes' communication (coming soon to IM-Louisville I see).  Our IM-FL forum was an orange site, so all of the "orange pagers" doing the race tied an orange surveyor's ribbon to their seatpost during the ride.  That allowed us all to say hello along the way.  Since you won't be wearing your yellow shirts in the event, someone may want to spearhead something along those lines.  If nothing else, it gives you something to look for and think about during a long day.

What he said!!  Tuesday all the sites were projecting 80-ish and Sunny and winds from the NNE....now it's mid-80's and humid with light winds from the SSW and showers!  Could be wet, could be dry, could be hot could be cool.......too soon to tell!

I'll put stock in the forecast on Sat afternoon...that way they'll have about a 50% chance of being right.
