Hey PPG's!

Back from my race! Yea, it was a good day, and to think I almost bailed! It was a much larger field than the last race, but a bit shorter in distance. I got second in my AG (40-44) and had a lot of fun on the course. It was hilly and windy but I saw good improvement from my last race. It's nice to see when your training actually works! Thanks all of you for such inspiration and positive energy!!! My race report is up so you can see more detailed info.

Congrats on your great race and bringing home hardware! My race also finished with an uphill (last 0.5 miles of the race)

I had a great race; surpassed my pre-race expectations and put up a new PB! Based on last year's results I thought I had a solid chance at placing in my age group but I still missed out

I haven't seen the official results yet so I don't yet know how far back I was.

I biked this morning. My goal was 25 miles, but I had to shorten it a little because of my asthma and a bad calf cramp. Still, it was a good ride and I'm happy I got out before it got really warm.

We just had a little earthquake. By Richter standards, I shouldn't have felt it. The girls and I were just sitting in the living room when there was a 'boom' and a quick shake. We had a pretty big one in '06, and felt 30+ aftershocks then, so I was pretty certain that this was a quake (shake?) Kinda fun to go on usgs.gov and look up earthquakes.

Okay, enough messing around. I need to get back to cleaning the yard so I can go to the dump!
