Yep, I will send out contact info to everyone who has PMed me probably Monday to give people the weekend.

I am at my parent's house tonight to drop off the dog and running a fun 10k with my sister tomorrow (in costume in the rain most likely) then Sunday is packing day after my last pool swim.

I think the only thing left to buy is a can of fix a flat for the tubulars and small bags of chips for special needs.  Found that my Mom had little snack sized ziploc bags in her kitchen which just about made my night, no need to buy those now. Just a few loose ends to tie up in terms of emails to family and friends with tracking info and I should be good to go.  Just ready for Wednesday to get here which is travel day!

OK - snow in Maryland in October.  Really.  Last ride on the trainer then.  Hardly replicating race conditions for next weekend ...

At least I'm not doing the Marine Corps Marathon tomorrow in the slush !

We're looking at 6-10 inches here.  I'm looking to get out and run this morning before it starts.

Wow SNOW!!!  I don't miss living in the north, but always enjoyed running in winter up there.  Moved to SC 6 years ago and no regrets.

FYI Walmart has a fix a flat thing that is $5 a can.  You can find it in the bike section

We needed to bump up our thread.

What all do you still need to get or resolve before you leave for PCB?

I'm sure there are more things....need to make a list of listWink

Still need to figure out what I'm eating and how.  Going to go do some panic induced impulse shopping at REI this weekend.  (rookie move, I know...)

Other big one for me is still figuring out if one of my kids is coming with us, or staying with grandparents.  Need to know if he has a test on wed or thurs and he's being slow to find out.  He's almost out of time and is going to miss sunny PCB and hang out with Nana and the cats...

The beach view looks nice. We had 12in of snow last Wed with more to come next Wed (when we fly out, oh joy). Hopefully that front does not travel SE to the panhandle for next weekend. Plan to get my stuff together today and figure out what I need to buy before heading out. The anticipation is killing me, I feel like I am going to pop.

Race must be getting close... I had a wonderful race related dream that somehow all my nutrition was gone when I got to T1, but everything was ok because there was huge bag of halloween candy which I proceeded to stuff in my jersey pockets, bento box, etc. and use on the bike.  I never did see how well I did on the run because my dog starting barking and woke me up, but I was cookin' on the bike!  Maybe that's a sign... I do have a fridge full of candy!

triburt - 2011-10-29 10:45 AM I've noticed that friends in other IM races have automatic updates to facebook of their progress on the course....anyone know how to set this up?

I used an app last year which automatically updated facebook, the guy provided it free for IMFL 10 competitors as he was just setting up and wanted tested.

It was great to read all of the comments the next day.

Earlier this year, the guy sent a note saying that WTC was not allowing him access to the IM Live records - another example of big bad WTC being......
