Reince Priebus might not be sleeping too well lately.

I can't quite figure Priebus out.  The "establishment" is doing everything they can to keep Trump out, but he seems to kind of sit in the middle of it all and not take sides.  I guess that's probably what he should be doing, but who knows.

I'm not too sure anybody is very worried about Hillary.  With Bernie there was/is an energized base out there, so no matter what he's hocking it doesn't matter if he gets enough energy behind him.  Hillary has the auto votes from the demographics that support her based on her gender, but there's not even much energy from them.  
Trump almost knocked her out too early when he attacked Bill on his past and her supporting him.  If you recall that's when her death slide in the polls started.  Trump backed way off to let her get some traction again to knock Bernie out.  She will be crushed in the year of anti-establishment.
Bernie would fare far better than her in this climate.  I even agree with him on a lot of things, believe it or not.  lol

I know you like to think Hillary will be crushed, but would love to see some facts, data or analysis rather than just gut feel or anecdotal evidence to back that up - if you got any....

I tried the Google before ever posting and couldn't find much, and what I did find seemed was weak, slanted, or from a not-very-credible source in my opinion. I was hoping that someone who posted that "professionals" had reported showing how Trump will beat Hillary might shed (actual) light. Or maybe I was mistaken on what you really meant when you wrote "you mean like the professionals have had about Trump over the last few months? Lol"?

I guess I should have been more clear as to how I was attempting to make my point. You were asking for data and/or something one could provide as evidence from someone with credibility to show that the D could defeat the C in a national election. I was attempting to enlighten you that most of those in that business when it comes to prognosticating the Donald, could't find sand or rocks laying down in the middle of Mojave Desert. 

Poor Bernie.  The Bern is fading.

Personally I don't think it will happen, but I've seen speculation that he may run third party.  Do you guys think there's any chance?

actually, he was only expected to win 2 states.  He won 4 and was narrowly edged out in massachusets.  The democratic primary allocates delegates based on popular vote, so he isn't really as far behind as you would think.  He does need to steal a few states soon to have any chance, but he is far from out of it.

I think you are right about that, he's to loyal to the DNC. 

I do believe he has some anti establishment support that will find it's way to Trump In the general. 

bahahaha, what???  loyal to the DNC????  he always ran as an independent, and they are doing their darndest to prevent him from being a candidate.  he wont run 3rd party because he knows it would lead to a GOP win and has zero chance of getting him the presidency.

I've got a decent amount of facebook friends across the full political spectrum and I don't think i've yet to see anyone post anything positive about Hillary.  However, my feed is filled with pro Bernie stuff.  I even had a bunch of friends that wen to the caucus last week for him to give him the Nebraska win.

It seems strange, because Bernie has all the buzz and excitement, but Hillary still keeps plugging away wins.  Perhaps she's such a known quantity that people don't have to get excited because they already know who she is and what she stands for.

I think historically they go with whomever the populace wants, they are there in case someone like trump shows up.  They could sway the vote enough to prevent him.

Bernie supporters, help me out here.  While I am a conservative, I do glance occasionally at both Vox and ThinkProgress to see what the other side is saying.  Friday Vox posted this:

The calculator gives a snapshot of how each of the major candidates affect people individually using data put in about their tax plans.

I've plugged in a few different numbers: 15k for minimum wage, 50k and married with 1 child for your middle class family, and 200k for your upper class.  All of these different scenarios  give roughly the same conclusion:

With Trump and Cruz you save a good bit, with Hillary you pay about the same as you do now, and with Bernie you pay a large amount (approx 10% more) than you do now.  A person making minimum wage pays almost $1,500 a year more in taxes.  

From what I've read on reddit posts about this, the response is "but where's the savings you get from Bernie's healthcare plan".  Isn't healthcare already free under Obamacare if you're making minimum wage?  If that's true, then you're paying more for Bernie's free health care as opposed to now.  

This is my number one concern with Bernie.  I think he's a good guy, but I haven't been convinced that there's a way that his policies add up.  That is a big part of Hillary's campaign against him.

So my question for Bernie supporters is "is this calculator wrong, and if so, how?".
