Chest & back workout done!!  There is nothing like doing push-ups with a big drooling dog standing over ya.

Off day for me today.  Took the dogs on a nice 40 minute walk tonight.  There are a gazillion stars out.  My neck is going to be stiff from looking up.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Monday.

Evening team!  Had a crazy day at work then straight to a Chi Running clinic then to spin class.  Glad I got it all in but I am worn out now.  Any team name is fine with me.  Sorry I am not much help!

Speedwork tonight - repeat miles. I forgot how fast I did the first mile and thought that my last mile was the fastest. I was close.  Buster (my dog) hates repeats because I go out and back over and over. I think he finds it boring. I am happy with the calorie burn too.  (648)  I have a 6 mile run on the calendar tomorrow.  Not sure when I'll get it done.  Worst case scenario, thursday.

have a great night folks.

Woke up to some crazy storms this morning.  So much for that run.  On the flip side the extra sleep was fantastic

Wow, I need some recovery just from reading all of that.  I don't know how you fit your training in there.  I hope it all works out.

Good morning team.  Really crappy 30-minute run this morning: My legs were stiff, my lungs were wheezing and my eyes were crying tears of pollen.  Oh well, every run can't feel good.  Will ride tonight, and that ought to be great.

Good morning!

I was MIA yesterday: rest day, work, tri club meeting left me with no time to get on here.

Had a pretty good swim this morning but my times have been slower for a few weeks. Can my hamstring injury be contributing to this even though I normally get very little propulsion from my kick?

Oh, my tri club was having a "suggest new gear" contest and my idea for club-logo'ed cowbells was the winning idea. I won 2 free cowbells.

Everyone needs more COWBELL!!

ceilidh  is listed on both teams, and has goals listed on Team A, so I guess she chose to go with them.

Where did the nice sunshine go???  I thought it was supposed to be a nice day out.  Huh.  I think I'll try to run after lunch.  If I am sucessful, then I'll push my bike ride off until tomorrow.  If I can't run, then I'll ride in the icky, cloudy, drizzle.

I love that sketch!  To keep things from getting boring in spin sometimes I do a theme with the music.  I did one class in which every song had a cowbell and asked the class what did the songs have in common. It went from subtle cowbell to very obvious. We were 2/3rds done before they guessed it.  They missed the hint when I played Blue Oyster Cult!!
