You have wayyy more guts than I do. Just think though, there's some little girl out there, waiting for a wig that's just the right color for her, and you're the match. Good luck!

  • ..If you can't tell, I am having second thoughts about shaving my head. I know I'll do it if I get the money, but I'm no longer excited about it. I need some encouragement- help!

  • Think about how much it is going to mean to some little one out there to have the perfect wig because you donated your hair.

It's a really good thing you're doing. And it WILL grow back quick, you'll be up to an adorable buzz cut in just a couple weeks.

The Mr. T starter kit consists of over 400 lbs in Gold Chains and a training manual teaching you how to punch something so hard that it rips a hole in time... you better get started now.

400lbs in gold chains? Maybe she should get the Ms. T. kit, I heard it only comes with 200lbs of gold chains and not the standard 400 lbs.

Wait, wait, stop the planning. If you're able to make the PI tri then why not get it shaved right before the race. Then we could take your pic with you standing on the "yellow footprints", maybe get a few DI's involved, I see great potential here.

You could run the race wearing a chrome dome and I'll bet you would be the most popular "girl at the dance", cue ball head and all.

runnergirl - I think that if you put back up your avatar WITH your hair, people will notice what a big deal it will be for you to shave it off.  There may be new people who don't get the big picture here.

(my previously stated preference for long hair has nothing to do with this post.)

Maybe I could post a piture of me from my childhood with a really bad short haircut.  That might motivate people to donate.

There are kids out there with diseases we dread
A real wig is so much better than thread
    So remember, give, and care
don't you want to see the glare
Of the bright Georgia sun off of Janelle's bald HEAD?
