Hello!  Got  my one mile in today from the warmth of my workout room, but then did go out into the cold for a snowy hike with my doggy Lola.

Went out for a cold slog tonight and ended up having a lot of fun with my bundled up daughter looking at the Christmas Lights in the neighborhood.  1 mile.

Missed ya'll, got all my runs in but I got to say, if it was as cold as ya'll are posting, not sure it would happen.  Spreadshet is updated.

You are! We are almost half way there, aren't we?

I did a short 1.3 this afternoon, and not much else. Recovery feels good.

2.3 miles of checking out some pretty impressive Xhristmas light displays. I love lights. I'm going to have to check out some more neighborhoods!

I'll say. You covered a lot of ground especially adding in the cycling. What race do you have on Saturday?

Do I get double credit for today's run.  It was 50 degrees and drizzling rain at 4:00.  I kept stepping in puddles I couldn't see but I'd rather run in the rain and cold than the "dreadmill". Did my 4 miles

I had to be pretty creative to get a mile in today!  Somehow my work calendar is back-to-back meetings today.  Normally I would go to the gym to run at lunch, but I don't have a long enough time to do that today so my husband dropped me off near the gym this morning and I walked up the hill to our building.  It was just over a mile and a nice start to the day.

The 5K I did on Saturday turned out to be a lot of fun except that I started too far back and passed about 1000 people in the first mile.  Next year I want to wear a costume that lights up...

you guys are awesome. I am feeling it here. Really counting the days, and the miles to go. I have decided to do a cheat to get myself some rest. I am running first thing Friday morning, then not again until Saturday night where I am going to do my long run from Saturday night over midnight, so then I get my mile in but get to skip a run.

Amen. I've done that before -- well, not running at midnight -- but running in the morning on one day and then not again until the evening of the second day, giving myself 36 hours of rest. I think it does make a difference.

A midnight run sounds wonderful. Do you run on trails, dirt roads, or through town?

I had a short run yesterday before CardioAbs, where I am now thoroughly convinced that the instructor is trying to kill us.

I hope to get a 30 minute run in today. I am home with my sick little boy, and I am starting to cough now, too. :-(

I probably will just run laps around the neighborhood. I got about 13k worth of streets within 2km of my house so that keeps me busy.

I have done the all night run up and down the trails, which is always good times, but no matter what I do after about 3 or 4 hours I completely lose my nerve and end up looking for cougars and ghosts around every tree. The shadows caused by my headlamp do not help either. Then I am stuck finishing my run on the sidewalk in trail shoes which sucks.

Good morning guys!

7 miles in here today.  I'm feeling it too...while my legs definitely feel strong, I woke up this morning with sore muscles that haven't been sore for a long time!  Spent some time stretching this morning rather than my usual Insanity add-on.

Have a great day!
