No racing here.  Friday night we are headed to the cabin and will be hitting the ski slopes for the first skiing of the season.  Likely to be only a few trails open but it will be good to get the cobwebs out of the skiing muscles!  Sunday we will be at a wrestling tournament all day...our other winter pastime!

And sometime between now and next Saturday I need to finalize my Christmas shopping!!

Hey guys.  Hope everyone is enjoying themselves this holiday season. 

No racing this weekend for me.  But I just found out that my bike is (semi) famous -- it made Felt's homepage.  One of the three pictures scrolling on Felt's homepage is of a guy in a white and orange and  grey kit on a Felt B16.  That is my brother on the bike that he sold me a couple months ago.  I just wish I looked half as good on it.

No racing.  Under the category of TMI, I'm having a colonoscopy Friday.  Which means tomorrow will be horrid.  Gonna try to get a swim in before the festivities begin......

As someone who has had one before (TMI????), they really aren't bad at all.  Think of it as your pre Holiday cleanse .  Drop an lb because of fasting and well, you know and then you get to make up for it the next two weeks!!!  All perspective Missy.

Unfortunately, this isn't my first.  Friday won't be bad at all.....tomorrow afternoon/evening will s*#k.

the only thing i found difficult about mine was the hot nurse telling me its ok to fart afterward.  well that and as you mention, drinking the gallon of "juice" the day/night before.

Just made the jell-o, so I can have something kinda solid to eat tomorrow.  I have to say, I've never been told that it was okay to f*rt.  Maybe that's a geographical difference in recovery room conversation.  Or gender-based.  I'll let you all know.

btw, did you have to call ahead to request the hot nurse?

I am older than most of you and certainly all that have chimed in about the colonoscopy, and wont be having my first one until next October. What is up with you people having these so often?

not often here, just once so far.   family history of certain types of cancer and other symptoms lead to it.  lets not talk about those symptoms.  at least up here. 

Not geographical and not gender based.  The nurse told Paul to tell me it was ok to f@rt alot afterwards.  It was my least favorite part of the procedure.

Doug, I think I am older than you and I had mine three years ago.   Totally based on a dr.'s recommendation.

PS  George, you're ok listening to people talk about crapping in an alley in Hawaii or peeing on their bike (note: it was the same person talking about both), but you're not ok with a medical procedure?  MAN UP Baby!

excuse me, but perhaps you are remembering incorrectly, it was not in an alley, it was out along the multi million dollar homes and someone's palm grove, thank you very much.  i am a discriminate crapper.  to quote your very words,
