Lucky you.  Even on the day I retired, I had to work late to finish jobs people needed for me to do before I left.  It was that way for every vacation and every holiday too.

Have fun, soldier.  I think you will be glad to be  totally out of reach from you stalker.

TW

I'm sure I'll have fun - I usually find a way to

And I think I'll be far out of reach. It's been quiet here for a week or so. Looking forward to more of that.

I've been carefully making myself useless at work over the last 2-3 weeks, so I could probably go now if I wanted to, but it's not yet 10am here

Envious.

Although, craptastic weather here today, so I don't think I'm missing much.

Should be the first triple-digit day of the year here in Tucson!

It snowed here.  That's right... SNOW.

Right about now, I'd move tomorrow if we could swing it!

Get it all on the other side if you need it.  Maybe easy to say if you have money, but seriously.  I would rather go into a little credit card debt getting new stuff but it's NEW and enjoy it - new how, new "life", new "start" and all.  Than pay 10k to bring the same old crap along.  Great chance to purge and repurchase what you NEED.

This is what we're leaning towards... if we can rent Tony's place furnished, great - we'll just leave everything here for the tenant and charge slightly higher rent.  If they want it unfurnished then we'll go the CL route and try to sell/give away everything.

Basically all we REALLY want to bring is the cats, the bikes, our clothes, and a few other things.

Weather here belongs in March or April. It's been cool, gray, and rainy. The temperature is predicted to go down to 39 tonight. I am tempted to build a fire in the fireplace and get this global warming cranked back up again.

The sun came out when we got to the lake. Too cold for a boat ride. Wine and cheese on a dock pitching gently in the wind was our boat ride this evening.

Great pics meh!

I believe we had a snow in May last year or at least very late April. Right now it just feels like fall... in the 40s in the mornings. Supposed to really heat up next week yahooo!

Getting ready to ride for a few hours, only 15 mph winds gotta take advantage.

Sorry about the weather. East Tennessee is usually much nicer in May than last week. Come back.

Its a trap- Don't fall for it. It will all take on the illusion of importance after 2 weeks. IF NOT then its ok to proceed, but with extreme caution....

Did anyone see the Michael Jackson performance on the award show last night? Think it was the Billboard Music Awards.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53Mj5sW8kuk

It was called a "live" performance and it was awesome, weird and creepy at the same time, but it was by far my favorite! He was a hologram dancing live? I know, sounds wierd right?

We taped the show and fast forward to all the live acts because I do not know half the people winning the awards anymore...

I've either got a terrible hangover or a sinus infection. Or, maybe terrorists put a bomb in my head and it's about to explode.

Got one layer done.  Too hard to do much more.  The control seem sort of random.

I USED to be able to solve it back in the day they were huge.  Can't believe how popular they used to be.  Speed solving championships and demonstrations on "that's incredible".

I often think about getting one at the dollar store.

i just got invited to do a "mudderella" race with a college girlfriend.  untimed.  last year she walked it.  it's 5 - 7 miles (tbd - race is in 3 months).  and it's $96.  holy crap.  i do NOT want to pay $100 to drive 6 hours to pay another $20 to park and then WALK for 2 hours with some mud pits.  i do, however, want to understand the marketing genius that creates these events and sells them out!

Tough mudder series was developed by a couple ex military to raise funds for wounded veterans.  They simply copied the obstacle course (maybe a slightly reduced difficulty) they used in basic training and people love it.  Raised a ridiculous amount of money so far (as well as put plenty in THEIR pockets - which is perfectly fine by me - if you got a good idea, make some money off it!)

Rough week.  All the drama at work and the worst news?  I went to the dentist and the pain I was feeling was a rare-ish thing called root resorption.  I think I take reasonable care of my teeth but there was nothing I could do.  They say it has to do with trauma (which I don't recall) which results in some kind of PH imbalance and the tooth basically dissolves itself from the inside out due to some kind of chemical reaction.  They will have to remove it - I'm sad.  I can get an implant, but my plan was to KEEP all my teeth...

The dentist was a little off-putting.  He almost sounded excited to see a case of this but it's MY tooth.  I also have to increase the times I get x-rays because there is no other way to tell if it's happening.  He said that it happens to one tooth, you are predisposed to having it happen again.  I need to do some research and see if I can do a diet change or something.

Sucks, you take care of them and some weird imbalance happens...

Did a 24 hr walk relay to raise funds for cancer on Saturday.  Pretty cool.  My last shift as at midnight, but walked till 1:15 am because I just wanted to.  Was pretty tired and still feeling it a little.  ALSO, actually two days in an HIM plan.  Curious to see how long THAT lasts...

Dude I feel your pain. Could be a lot of reasons. The way it was explained to me is some people are predisposed to certain deficiencies. As much as you could have bad skin for example you could just as likely have bad bone density or weak teeth. I know in the past you've mentioned cancer. Could it also be a long term side effect of the treatment ? There's also been a lot written lately that links athletes to having bad teeth.

On another note I see Burger King dropped there 40 year old catch phrase of have it your way, to Be Your Way. What does that even mean ?

So I skipped the wine last night as a scientific experiment to determine the source of my headache by the subtractive method.  Miracously, no headache this morning.  I think I need to add the wine back in tonight to confirm the results, purely in the interest of science, of course.
