Here you go, Ryan.

I just don't get it. Not at all, not in the least.

Nor do I. I would NEVER wear anything like that.

While we disagree on what's fashionable, I think we can agree on what's considered professional dress, and that most office settings call for it.

It doesn't help that the models are total dweebs. What's with the guy in the gray suit? Can you say Pee Wee?

But, I'd love to wear shorts to work in the summer. Just not cute pink/white seersucker bermuda ones.

The dude on the right is wearing black shoes, black shorts, and a brown belt. WTF?

Blue polo, brown shoes, black belt. Because I have to have the brown shoes to go to Colorado and didn't want to iron an earth-toned shirt. So GFY if you don't like it, dbag.

HTFU! What is it with chicks and sweaters in the summer? Drives me crazy! I have NEVER taken a sweater or sweatshirt to the movies or restaurant "in case I get chilly"

I'm little and don't have a lot of body fat. I get cold easy. Shut up... ;)

Ditto. My space heater is currently ON. It is about 90 degrees outside at 10 a.m., but probably 60 degrees in my office. I always bring sleeves to a restaurant becuase I always get sat directly under the air vent. I just can't enjoy my dinner being blasted with freezing cold air.

Yup, it's really hot here too. We discovered that the girl who had this office before my old boss had covered the air vents with tape and my admin took the tape down! I'm going to make him put it back up when he comes back from vacay - only because I can't reach without standing on a chair and looking like a freak.

Until a few years ago, all the men here were required to wear ties. No open-toed shoes for the women. Now, it's looser (no ties, and women wear open-toed shoes), but we're still tighter than many others.

Even on our casual days (maybe once a month), no sneakers, and the men still have to wear shirts with buttons (polos or whatever).

We have casual Friday every week (unless you are meeting with clients, but even then, some of the architects don't put on a suit), and our dress code specifically says that sneakers and flip flops are allowed. It's a pretty casual environment in general - a lot of the designers wear jeans during the week. I won't, but I will wear my denim skirt on days that are not Friday - I'm such a rebel I always get complimented on my clothes, so I figure I'm doing fine.

I'm allowed to wear polos, on a normal day, but don't.  Seldom wear khakis to work, either.

Do you hate anyone so much that you wouldn't care if they died?

There are currently 2 people on that list for me.

Rant On.....so I had to go get some blood work done but they couldnt find my order.  They are searching for 20 plus minutes and i think why dont they just call the Doc's office and have them refax it?  DUH.....so I took it upon myself to call the doc from my cell phone and tell them I am waiting patiently and they are still searching...they refax it right over.  Boy I would love to be paid by the hour too!

Nice.

I dislike a LOT of people...but my truly 'hate' list only has 2.

These are the people that just make you angry at the thought of them.

One person. And I'd gladly take on the task myself. And it would take, oh, a few weeks.

I can never wear shorts, skirts, or sandals to work.  Always pants and closed toe shoes.  Joys of working in a biosafety level 2 lab.  Not so bad because I am always cold and at least I have an excuse for the pants in the summer.

Yup- crazy ex-roommie definitely made that list. Just thinking about her unleashes all kinds of wretched hate that I'm ashamed to admit.

I saw a new Nissan Maxima yesterday, and I was really impressed.

The last couple iterations have been horribly ugly. The designers in the Infiniti division are using their influence well.

The car is frickin' HUGE though.
