Try it. Prove me wrong  Of course, you can't replace it with a bad choice. Try replacing meat with another source of protein like beans. Black bean and veggie enchiladas? You won't miss the meat, I promise. That's what I found. That I was eating WAY too much meat. Counting calories really does help me realize where I get my calories from. I can only eat a "playing card deck" sized portion and still stay within my limits. Funny, that's how much they say to eat. I was used to eating whole sides of beef at times....
