wgraves7582 - 2010-03-25 3:48 PM I get to go listen to a 5th grade boys sex-ed talk - fun times!!! - LOL

What a coincidence--I attended a preview of the girls video last week.  I cannot believe I have a daughter old enough to watch a puberty video and come home with "products."  She did tell me that the girls did fine but the boys were, in their words, "scarred for life."  Good luck with your parental follow-up, and kudos to you for being a supportive Dad.

My wife just went to preview the very same video for our 4th grade daughter last night.  They grow up so (too) fast!

My friend at work has a ten year old. She caught him in his closet with a picture of a mostly nekkid lady the other day. Yikes!

I have 5th and 7th grade boys and have never been invited to one of these "viewing parties".  I think they did it at school??!!  I better find out!

But, I did learn that my 7th grader charged a few not very wholesome movies to our On Demand TV service over winter break.  "Wet Jamie", "Bisexual Girls", and a few others.  Poor supervision on my behalf.

Ok, change of plans for the evening.  My running partner bailed, so I think I'm going to go home and hop on the trainer.  My goal is to be on the trainer withing 10 min of getting home otherwise I know it won't get done!  Plus, I have dinner and after dinner plans tonight, so if I dilly-dally then it might be too late to start!

billsorg - 2010-03-25 2:00 PM Good afternoon, bEASTies,
I was sooooo tempted to blow off working out today, but then I thought about those evil TWISTERS and got over to the Y for a 1350 yard swim.  I'm now up to 4500 yards for the month vs. my goal of 10,000.  I will do another swim tomorrow at lunchtime.  I also am planning a 3-4 mile treadmill run in the morning so I can close the gap on the run goal.  I'm pretty confident I will exceed all goals.

SLEDGE HAMMER-TIME!!!

Gearing up for a 22 mile ride while watching some basketball tonight.  Big basketball night night in my house!!

Are you rooting for Syracuse?

My son is a freshman at Maryland so I was rooting for the Terps; now that they are out I don't care much.

Definitely cheering for Syracuse!!!

Also, almost embarassed to admit this since they will most certainly lose but both my husband and I went to Cornell.  Cheering for them still too!

My son didn't even want me coming but I have to - I told him we would go for pizza afterwards and I would correct all the bad stuff they said!

Just think it will be my first education in the subject and I am 43!  My parents did not do a real bang up job educating us

LOL!!  I'd SO much rather do the 22 miles!!

3.64 mile running today.  I've got a 10k on Saturday.  So that puts me at least 30 miles running for the month.

I am now publicly promising to put on my running shoes and, well, run TODAY.  If I can grab enough time, I will try to repeat last week's ten-mile route.  There, I said it.  Now, I have to do it.  Thanks bEASTies.

Your welcome!

MDHillSlug - 2010-03-25 8:49 AM I had a good, hard swim this morning; 100m repeats kicked my butt. They were supposed to all be done within +/- 2 seconds of each other but it didn't happen, although I ended up doing 7 or 8 within +- of 2:00. Unfortunately, that's several seconds slower than I can usually do my 100's.

All you guys with your swimming makes me want to get back in the pool again.  I wish I was on a team again so I could just have someone telling me what to do.  I'm not that great doing pool workouts by myself.  I think I need a swimming buddy.

If I don't have a plan I will use the one that the swim team or masters leaves up on the board.
