Y'know, if you're going to trade wetsuits with someone, you're supposed to walk off with the BETTER one, not pick up my not-as-good one and leave me a good one

Too bad it'd be a touch small for me.

Ugh! Missed everyone this morning. Got there early and asked around. Didn't find any BTers. Said heck with it, went for a short swim. When I finished I saw you guys just finishing the picture. Tomorrow...Is there any special meeting spot or anything for the dinner tonight? Also do you need to get there right at 5:30? Can't imagine this being a 2 hour dinner. Duane

DINNER question.... i only did the mandatory athlete mtg back in 2008... so a bit clueless... i had purchased an extra ticket for my BF...but am "iffy" about what they may serve ..(trying to avoid the whole pasta/chicken thing before tmrw.. I eat Paleo)...does anyone know what they ahve served in the past? .. we might opt to hit a seafood restaurant and get my fish and veggie fix in before i go low fiber tmrw nite.. ..and i am assuming...that we jsut bring our receipt from our purcase of an extra tix with us?

went to swim..but there were so many people there..can't tell whose BT'ers or not... so good luck everyone with the race!

Went for a spin this afternoon....in the washing machine.... Surprised I really hope the wind dies down before Sat so the swim isn't a constant up and down pounding. I should have gone out there this morning before it kicked up but I wanted to run and drive the bike course first.

Swim was fun this morning. Thanks! We are eating at pineapple Wileys first then coming to the dinner. Dottie has family that got here last night. Went to the merchant tent and waited in line for over an hour so we missed the lunch.

Okay, I am just going to put it out there... How about 5:15 in the lobby, so we can sit together? And to answer the Paleo question, it probably IS pasta and chicken, so you might think about a place afterward. Since we didn't do BT shirts this year, I will be the bald guy standing around in jeans and a long sleeve white shirt that says Cardiac Ironman on the front and a bunch of red text on the back. There - now you all have a target to find. See you there!

Getting down to the wire for dinner.  Anyone interested in meeting somewhere first or have a spot they know for folks to try and meet up at in the room?  I'd love to put faces to the names of all you folks who have been giving great advice for the past 3 years...

Swim meet up for Friday, there is a little elevated area that is maybe 4-5 steps and a big square deck to the right of where the showers are facing water near the walk through in the hotel...shorter building which is the hotel. Someone will have on a BT shirt or just ask....are you with BT?

So who will be towing me through this surf? I sure hope weather.com is correct in guessing the wind will shift by race time from NE at 7mph. Right now it is saying 16mph out of SW. I will be having a long, long swim in these conditions.

I seriously hope you are correct! To all of you veterans out there: Are all of the welcome dinners that completely chaotic? I felt like I was in the mass swim start just trying to get a seat; which I never did.
