Those Girl Scout cookies called Samoas... geez!!! With the coconut on them. Have you seen the fat grams in one cookie? Darn, they are good though!

Got the short run in this evening.

It's horrible, but they are so delicious.  Those and the chocolate-covered peanut butter ones.  Delicious!  They are so crazy addictive.

I want to know what the hell they put in those cookies to make them so irresistible!!!! all of them!! darn those girl scouts!!!

Had a good ab / core session this morning.

What are we doing this weekend?  Our 11 year old is tied up with lacrosse games Sat / Sun.  On a good note, one of his games is about 2 miles from an awesome tri store www.AcmeMultisports.com Will definetly have to make a stop in there!  Mmmm... Cervelo! (drool)

Good luck on your du Kristen!

I swam this morning!  First time in a few months.  It's craziness.

I was also supposed to be doing a duathlon tomorrow (same one as Kristen), but clearly I am not.  I am going to volunteer instead.

Sunday, I am going to an OWS clinic.  Trying to get Kristen and Judi to go too....(no pressure!

After my swim this morning, it looks like there are no more zeroes on the spreadsheet!  Good job on the progress so far!

Please remember to update the spreadsheets by the end of the day on Sunday.

Well, had my first double workout in over a month and it feels good. Ran 2.5 miles this morning, just swam 1500 yds at lunch. So, I am inching up on my goals. Got a new trainer yesterday, may have to ride it this weekend. Not supposed to be real springy here.

Have a good weekend everyone and good luck to everyone racin.

Good luck those of you racing this weekend!

Have fun at the swim clinic too.

Happy training to everyone else. I'll be glued to the computer Sunday watching IMAZ..should be highly motivational as I know lots of folks doing it plus some are like me first time 40+ women.

Got some bike time in the morning.....plans are to catch up with my swim this week.  Our pool water has been terrible so I went to the college pool and a friend of mine is the boss there and gave me a memership....it is a little less convient but hey its not green, its not 91 degrees, I can still feel my tongue when I get out and if I forget to take off my silver jewlery it is still silver and not grey.  Goals is to go everyday after I teach and before coming to work then each evening I can get some run time in and possible Weds morning get a long bike in.

Did a duathlon this morning (2.85/18/2.85)...race report here.

So my mileage so far is:

Bike = 67.5 (+ 18 for today's race) = 85.5/160
Run = 22.09 (+ 6.2 for last week's race + 5.7 for today's) = 33.99/80
Swim = 2700/8000

WHOO WHOO! Go Atoms! Have a blastin' weekend!

I ran this morning and got a little ride this afternoon.  Had to come in and make dinner.  I did some hill repeats a couple streets over (quiet cul de sacs with moderate hills). Some little kids were out riding (helmetless I might add--grrrrrr)and a little boy about age 7 looks at my bike and says "how do you get a bike like that?  and then refers to my bike as sweet!  Awwww, my little Fuji Roubaix isn't bike porn material but I guess if you're just out of training wheels a roadie with aerobars and clipless pedals looks like gold!  Hope to get the trainer set up after dinner or Kathy G will be fussing at me to get on the bike (yes, I know I told you to)

Alright Kathy, just for you I pasted my azz to the trainer for 90 minutes of watching Starwars: The Empire Strikes Back.  That and the boneheaded bike rider screwed up on another attempt at an LT test because of he multiple buttons on the HRM.  Oh joy, I have that to look forward to another day.

Nice work there 90 minutes!!!

I have a bike TT on Wed...love the challenge of them to see where I am...my coach took it off my plan but I asked for it back.

So when is the next LT attempt?

Not sure, maybe after I get some more time learning all the buttons on the HRM .  For some reason I con't always get the data when I press lap and that's why it screws up.  Got it on my run the other day from work--but it didn't give me mileage when my footpod is calibrated so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  Need a 1:1 inservice on the thing!

&$*%$!!!!  Dadgummed Windows Media Player (Vista Premium) won't play the feed from IMAZ!  Laptop is less than 6 months old with all of the recent updates.

Sorry for the outburst.  Got it corrected.  I don't know how, but it took me 1/2 hour.

Cold, windy run today.

Oooh yeah -- I think I'll go watch it now while I'm folding laundry.  I hate folding laundry so have to bribe myself.

Rode today and will ride at lunch Mon and Tues since the weather is supposed to be gorgeous.  I took a couple days off last week cuz I was oddly exhausted, so I'm a bit behind for the month, but will get after it starting today

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!!!
