Team Omens.. I present to you: 122 miles. My goal (120 miles) for the month has been passed, and will end up shattered as I will be only adding up more as the month wears on. I'm not going anywhere, but I do want to say thanks for providing me so much motivation. We are the best! Now lets bring the rest of us home to 100% of goal.

Nice job everyone! We moved up to 3rd place and are going strong. Those two teams in front of us have no clue what hit them as we fly by to take the 100% goal prize.

I squeezed an unscheduled run in yesterday so it is a given that I am going to hit the goal...and probably do it early. And as they say, if I can do it then I know damn well that the rest of you can.....

Cool - continue to focus on the teams in front of you, and ignore Team Black Magic as we sneak up behind you and STEAL YOUR RUNNING SHOES!! Haha! No more shoes means no more running!!!

Oooops, I think I just gave away our secret...

Ummmm, never mind me as I make a quick exit stage left...

Nice job, atl_runner!

Not quite as impressive in volume, but I hit 100% this morning as well. 31.29 miles out of 30 miles pledged - and I'm not gonna stop running between now and next week.

Thanks for all the inspiration.

Awesome Enders_Shadow.. great job. It's all relative, so everything each and every one of us does is as impressive as the rest. Congrats on beating your goal.
Now come on home everyone.. to 100% Bad Omen Lane.. it's a warm, friendly place where we can cast omens upon other teams.

Hi,

Im just writing a note here to get feedback regarding those people affected by the fires in California as Mother Nature is an unforeseen circumstance that we could not have planned for with this challenge.

They way I see it there are 3 groups:
- Those evacuated due to fire risk
- Those whose running is affected due to smoke in the air
- Those who are working as part of the fire fighting crew

I have some ideas on how we can address this but the key suggestions are:
- Let another team member or members pick up their mileage in the next 7 days (this only counts from miles run from today)
- Allow for goal reduction based on planned workouts for days affected due to fire fighting or evacuation (has to be a fair way to do this, if you committed 50 miles and have only run 10 miles to date dont try and tell me you were going to run 40mile in 7 days!!!)

Those affected by smoke can use the gym or elliptical or treadmill to meet their goal OR if you do not have access to these facilities the above will apply.

Please let me know via PM or in the team leaders thread anyone affected and what you want to do ASAP as the end of October is almost upon us.

Please stay safe
Cat

So - I feel like I am probably the weakest on this team regarding meeting goals - ssooo... rest of you guys/gals.....no excuses!! Let's get running....

Rock on BO!!

Been one of those weeks, BUT....I'm a little over 3 miles from 100% and I'm getting ready to knock out a 90 min run, my last LSD before my 2nd half-mary next Sat.  Assuming work leaves me alone long enough, I'll be over the top by this evening.

You are all doing awesome

Fantastic job for those who already are at 100%, those who are close by, and those ahead of schedule   I feel really bad holding the team back I never imagined  being in a position where I would be slowing the team down  But it seems I have overcome my tummy issues, and therefore should be able to make it The key is however still my long run on Sunday, which I will probably cut a bit short, as I am still not at 100%, but I should WILL make it, this team is on the way to greatness and I will not be the one preventing it.

GO BO

We are almost there

I went out for a little 20 miler this morning and ended up running 21.  I would have gone a couple more and finished, but my hurt foot started bothering me.  So now I have 2.4 miles left to go and 4 days to do it.  I'm pretty confident I can squeeze it in
