Is anyone's family volunteering?

I have sent e-mails to the volunteer info e-mail to tell them I can't make the meeting Friday but that I WILL be at the transition tent Saturday.  However, they never write me back.

I was hoping someone's family (that's volunteering) could go over to the women's change tent captain and make sure she knows I WILL be there Saturday!

Someone please let me know if their fam can help me out!

Bike, T1 and T2 bags Friday

Nutrition, Bike S/N and Run S/N bags race morning.

That's how I understand it.

On Friday but you will have access to the bags on race morning if you need to do anything with them.

Ride and run this morning. Did not feel like swimming. Wed was enough. Also signed up for IMFL 2012. My key word tomorrow with all the wind is PATIENCE.Based on the ride today I am wearing my running tights on the bike. Long sleeve tech shirt under bike jersy with arm warmers and throwing on a toss away windbreaker on top.Oh yea, toss away gloves over my bike gloves. I might have a 35 min transition can you tell I hate the cold?Good luck everyone!Duane

Good Luck to everyone..THANKS for all the help..It truly has been a great journey to get here..Now all we have to do is race ...Happy Birthday Kathy! You will do great. Thanks to each one of the BT folks  for the tips and help you have given me. The swims were a lot of fun.

A football coach used to tell us their are three words to remember, Courage, intensity, and pride.

Courage to face your fears, Never be scared!

Intensity to give everything you have until the end.

Pride To always be proud of YOURSELF and what YOU can do.

GOOD LUCK!!!

Want to take this opportunity to thank all of the BT'ers out there.  You have helped me tremendously on this journey to race day.  Can't tell if I'm 70% excited and 30% terrified or vice versa, but its time to sit back and just wait for the cannon tomorrow morning.  Nothing else to be done.

Again, my thanks to BT.

Cheers

Does anybody know if there will be a shuttle available from the Walmart parking lot in the morning?

Parking and Shuttle Bus Service:
Parking is available at the Gulf Beach Baptist Church and the southeast corner of Wal-Mart’s parking lot. The Gulf Beach Baptist Church is located at 10620 Hutchinson Boulevard and Wal-mart is located at 10270 Front Beach Road. Complimentary shuttle bus service will run from these two locations to the race site all day. The shuttle buses will run continuously from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5 and will drop off at Alvin’s Island (approximately .25 miles east of the Boardwalk Beach Resort and Spinnaker Parking Lot). Shuttle buses will run every thirty minutes from 7:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. It is highly recommended that spectators park in the designated lots and ride the shuttle bus to the race site. Please note: No bikes are allowed on the shuttles.
