Yes.  How's your day going?

Pretty good. I've got a temp position that could go permanent, so that's a relief. And it's not just basic admin; so at least for awhile while I ride out the economic situation and look for something that I REALLY want to do, it'd be a job with benefits, etc. And it's super-close to my house (like a mile away). So we'll see. At least for the short-term, I've got work starting tomorrow.

And, nice date with cute Match.com boy last night. So we'll see how that goes as well.

Yeah!!  That's all good news!

So...going to ride or run to work? 

Sadly, no - the building is on the same road off of which I live and off of which my old office was - Rte 7 in Tysons Corner. So, not safe Which blows cuz it's even closer than my old office.

Ouch.  It would take you longer to try to cross that street than to just drive.

The problem with commuting by bike or running is inconsistent sidewalks. There are plenty of places to cross Rte 7 at a light, but it's too dangerous to ride with traffic and there aren't sidewalks all the way there. But running to work would put me in crazy shape since from my house to the office, it's a long uphill and then a downhill, in both directions.

Beth is so friggen sick right now. Started Saturday and has not gotten any better.  I'm trying not to get it. 

Nah.  She was taking Penicillin the few days leading up to meeting you in hopes it would defeat anything you could pass on. 

This is more nose, cough, drainage, stuff.  

It got a bit steamy for a moment or two.

I spent my government gift certificate at best buy last night on a digital converter/unscrambler thing.  I guess I'll get to watch TV in Feb.
